To all animal charities . The only human one is Help the aged.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. They are a non-profit organization that gives money to research groups to find a cure for cystic fibrosis. There are 30,000 Americans that have CF, but the foundation gets no government help because CF is considered 'rare'. 52 years ago the median age of survival was 5 years. Now, thanks to the help of the foundation the median ago of survival is 36.5 years. I can honestly say that I didn't know about CF until 10 years ago when my cousin was diagnosed with it. He has been in and out of the hospital all his life and I can't imagine not trying to help save his life. I am on the way to raising $5,000 this year.

Cancer charities, I know a lot of people affected by it and i agree their mission lies in helping patients and their families, they are genuine. I refuse to sign up to those brightly coloured bibbed people who stand waving their clipboards in the street, you know the charities like sponsor a granny, i like to give willingly not because im forced to.

I support Breast Cancer awareness, Fraternal Order of Police, American Heart Assoc. and I donate food to the local animal shelter when I can. Shop with Cops is coming up and I like to support that too!

Like you, I give to animal charities and our local ones as well.
I believe they're less likely to "dip into the till"
