Because He made me alive spiritually. Until He does, you won't believe Him spiritually speaking. There is a reality that most people are not aware exists. Why? Because they are spiritually dead.
When God comes to you and says, "I love you, I died to set you free, and I did it because I want to spend eternity with you!" WIthout experiencing it, you just don't have that questioned answered. A spiritually dead person cannot see the world differently because they do not have spiritual eyes, they are dead.
Most people never think... Why do we see color? Why is there color? Like a blue sky... a red rose... green grass... etc etc etc... So what? Who cares?
How about this thought... Why are there emotions? If we were not made, we just existed. There was no God and therefore no judgement for any action. Why would we love someone enough to offer our lives for someone else. Why would we have an army willing to defend a country? A fireman willing to put his life on the line to help you in your hour of need.
Scientific questions, How does a bird sustain flight when it eats an average of 3 times it's body weight each day? Why did evolution STOP? How did the Earth come to revolve around the sun and give adequate life without design?
"Uh... It just happens..." is the answer most of our lost friends who believe the insanity of evolution... When they give me such ridiculously foolish answers, I question why do I suffer fools? Except for the grace of God, go I!

Born into a family of Atheist/God haters, ruled with an iron fist, and my mother and others having Seances, practicing witchcraft, I grew up pretty quickly, and as God has put in all mans heart, knew right from wrong.
I had RI or RE it was called depending on which school I was in.
So whilst passing messages and making/flying paper airplanes around the room, I listened.
One night out of utter fear I said 4 line poem that was meant as a prayer to the ? God?
My life was transformed and this Love and Peace, just flooded my sole and I was suddenly not afraid.
It was an indescribable experience and from that time I have never doubted what I know to be true.
Though I later on ignored Him (forgot He existed) and went my own way.
I later turned to The Lord and asked forgiveness.
So I know what it is like to be without God and with Him.
I believe, because when you truely know the unbelievable depth of Love that I can't handle sometimes, that He IS and extends toward you in so many different ways, you never want to go back to your old way of living without Him*

I do because I had a dream about Him.
I know that probably means nothing to you, or anyone reading this answer but it was a very powerful dream.
The content wasn't much, but I saw God for a second. At least, my own visual interpretation of God, but the feeling was incredibly powerful.
I wouldn't even allow myself to think about it until a few months later. That's how much it got to me.
I know that doesn't sound like much, and it sounds like the typical "I saw God in a dream" thing most Christians say, but I've had dreams about God before, and they did nothing to me. This dream actually changed my own morality, and made me think about a lot of things.

I believe. Because He revealed Himself to me by answering my 'prayer' before I gave myself to Him. Because after a time of following and chiding along with other non-believers He showed me He was the truth... not all the arguments I adhered to as a non-believer.
When God showed me He was real (in His word) I realized the falsehood of all the anti-religious arguments I'd spouted before.

I do! Because as a child who went looking for Him...He revealed Himself to me! As a selfish teen who rebelled against all authority, He disciplined me! As a young woman who lost all hope, He showed me the way! He taught me that my life was not about me and He let me pass through the fire so that I might be refined and purified! He lets me know there is a purpose for my life, and that I am fulfilling His plan for me! Looking back in retrospect, He has always been there, shaping me, molding me, teaching me, protecting me, loving me! He knows me and He shows me different aspects of His awesome personality every day.He has been with me, sustaining me, guiding me, providing for me, all the days of my life! Maybe because I searched for Him as a child? I do not know why..... but He was always there. He reminds me He is with me on a daily basis. I talk to Him and He is there to listen! I cry out to Him and He answers me! He lights the way for me, and illuminates the darkness!
He always was and always will be! He is the One with whom all things are possible! He makes a way when there is none! I find Him in my daily walk and see Him everywhere! How could I ever not believe after the awesome things I have been shown? The love He pours out on me shows me who I am in Christ.......a daughter of the King! What an awesome Father to have! He lives and reigns! Praise the Lord!

I was born as Muslim but many instances in my life strenghend my faith in God.
May father was a police man in India. No one taught him about Islam. He took bribes from criminals when he caught them. It was normal for all Police men. After high school I worked as a Clerk in a college. My father was sick now and dependended on my income which was very little. One day he said to me, why don't you work in departments where you can get extra income like in excise or Income tax Department. I replied, Dad I will never make dirty money even if I starve. He got very mad and walked out of house. Two weaks late an unknown man listened to me talking to my friend in English. He interuped and told me that there is a vacancy in British Council Library in the city and they will hire you because you speak good English. I went there and applied for the job. I was given a test along with six other candidates. I got hired and my salary doubled. I increased the amount I used to give to my parents three times.
In USA I worked as a Plant Manager in a Manufacturing comapny. The owner was from England. He drank alcohol a lot. He tried more than a year to convince me to drink with him. I always refused because it is against my Islamic belief. One day he gave me a hint that It is not good for my career not to socialize with your boses. It is ok to drink some times with us. I again refused. He fired me after few weaks. I prayed to God for giving me job where my abstaining from drinking will be appreciated. Soon I got hired by Saudi Arabia's Governemnt Hospital and they took me there with my entire family. My salary and benefits increased three times. I got free furnished 3 bedroom apartment for family and 6 weaks yearly vacation with air line return fair evey year for entire family. I worked there until my son finished high school. Then we came back.
Now do you think God exists and He provider to all of us?

I do. I don't really know why but I am drawn to this belief. I am unable to disbelieve, at this point anyways.
This belief seems to be a part of me much like having an arm or a leg. Weird huh?
