Well I just started a new class online and my teacher requires that first you scan in your work in low resolution onto the computer. Can someone please explain what that means and how I can scan in low resolution? Thanks

Thats the DPI, dots per inch

Normally scanner by default do this in 300 or 200dpi, dropping it to 100 or even 50dpi will yield a low res image plus smaller file size.
