First of all, breathe deeply, if possible, drink a glass of water. Don't get tensed. Maybe the reason of fear is not so serious as you think.
Be cool headed, analyse the situation and decide how to tackle it.

i have found it useful to load my .45, down a fifth of Jack Daniels and run down the street naked. it puts into perspective what fear really is. give it a shot...you may like the results. no other event could be as bad as this scenario and you will never feel fear again. if this fails, place the gun to your head and pull the trigger, for only god knows this world does not need another whine, afraid-of-the-dark crybaby who is scared of a freak-in headache. good luck.

If i fear something, i get challenged. ill act soon to tear it down that fear by pushing through and facing it. cause when fear dwells inside your spirit, it will be the one also to destroy you. so early as now. destroy and face your fear.
In your given example, that's so easy just take analgesic medicine if you know that your going to have an headache.

Well, I don't fear anything coming on! And when I do get afraid (of some vague sounds or some horrible sights etc. or just like that), I pray and give myself Reiki.

At this time i do one out of these two things. The very first thing is that i would not prefer that way which will create problem and the second thing is that i feel that i am the bigger one than the problem, i am the problem for that problem.
