No I don't. That seems excessive considering what is allowed to be broadcast as rap "music".

I do not agree with any of it. What kind of a world do we live in when you can't even curse at your own, overflowing toilet in your own house?? Your house is your castle, your sanctuary and no one has the right to overstep those boundaries like the "off duty police officer" neighbor did! Maybe the lady should have closed the window after telling the neighbor to MYOB, however, what transpired was malarkey and the charges won't stick in court. Just goes to show how messed up and outdated the laws are that allow frivolous charges and lawsuits to be filed. What a waste of time for everyone including the judge that has to hear this nonsense.

I just heard about it on the radio a few minutes ago, and I think it is the most rediculous thing I've ever heard. Why on earth would you agree with that? Are you saying you've never cursed at anything or anyone...or even said a word like that for that matter? You can't make a claim like that...it would be a giant lie, and everyone knows it would be. The judge, the lady who made the complaint, and the police officer who took the time to pay attention to an ignorant complaint like that should all have their @sses kicked for being stupid.

What did the judge say?
sounds as though a police officer ticketed her for disorderly conduct, it seems absurd, but I assume was a technicality which would lead to a judge making a token gesture on behalf of the neighbor.
I believe the neighbor should have respected the thinness of the walls, the concept of privacy, and just ignored it.

Its a sad sad world when you can't even yell profanities in your own home. She was yelling them at her toilet, in her own home? I dont see how she broke any rules and I think her neighbors are assholes for turning her in. I say the only person who should be able to press charges against her, is her victim. Seeings as her victim was the toilet, until the toilet comes forward and presses charges, she shouldnt face jail time or a fine. We're letting the goverment control what we do more and more, and this is just another example. Pretty soon we're going to have to shower in our clothes or get slapped with indecent exposure.

This was in her own place? Oh man, there is so much intervention nowadays and no one can do anything without being reprimanded forit. I believe one should conduct themselves for the most part, as if someone else was with them, but come on, the neighbor should have just turned her radio up for a bit.

If she was in her home then i don't see an issue.. if she was very loud i can see the distraction. however the word useage isn't the issue here it's how loud she was.. she could of yelled the same thing at a lower tone and nothign would of happend but if she is in her home then she is allowed to do what she wants PERIOD it scares me to think what would happen if someone had super hearing!!!! and stood at my door and heard me screaming Oh yeah Do me but using a different word then Do Start;s with an "F" so i would get fined for it too!
I can see getting find if i'm in a public place but at my home! BS

You forgot to mention this: the neighbor was an off-duty cop. He asked her to keep it down. She cursed at him. Then he called the police on her.
You can't give half the story and ask for people's opinions. That's not fair.
