Some where along the line of being a commercal diver, sound board operator for Cellar Door Production for concerts like Led Zepplin, Rolling Stones, Who, Cream, Eric Clapton, etc..., and 13 years as a helicopter rescur swimmer I have Tinnitus.

Some days are worse than others. It just seems to get louder & louder. If a cop siren goes by me I'll hear that siren for hour later, even pulling over and looking for a cop.

I'm 50+ now by the time I hit 65 and retire and get bored I will finally turn of the noise with my .357mag.

Yes. I foolishly danced to close to a large speaker at a nightclub and the next morning all I could hear was a constant high pitched whistling noise. It lasted for 3 days and nearly drove me insane because it was so loud. I couldn't even hear conversations.
Thankfully over the years, the noise has dulled down and I only hear the tinnitus when there is no other background noise, say at night or something. But over time I've learnt not to fight it, so it's better to live with, but can imagine what other people go through.

Yes, I was in the Army and worked with explosives, I also was around firearms. My ears always have a ringing sound, or a cricket like sound. Over the years I have learned to ignore it. But sometimes I forget and the sound comes back loud and clear.

Only after Cheap Trick shows. My ears can ring for days. It is possible one of these times it could be permanent. I do have a low level ring at all times but it does not bother me.
