to live in, because they were told he was coming back. Does anyone know what happened to the house, and where was it situated, and
how much did it cost. Or was all that talk just a rumor, or was it true anyone knows for sure.

The Jehovahs Witnesses have built a house somewhere in America in anticipation of Jesus and the Prophet's returns - the prophets being the ones' seen with Jesus at the Assencion. However, that is just their belief. I believe Jesus when he says that he will descend again to earth in the same way He went up to Heaven, but of course no-one knows that hour or day, not even Jesus Himself. But I am sure he will not be wanting an expensive house in America. I cannot remember what happens in this house now.

I have not heard of a special house for Jesus to live in. I know that if there is one I haven't a clue where it was built or the price of it.
All I do know that is for sure is that we will not know the day, or the hour or the time when he will come back. I know that we have been given some of the signs of when he is coming and there are certain things that will show us and some of those have already been seen and for some reason that scares me and I don't understand that about me.
I really have not heard anything about any kind of house being built. You asked a good question and I am going to ask our Priest about this one and if He does know of such a place how come no one shared any of this to the ones who go to Mass.

Do you mean denomination? Assuming you are referring to Christianity. It was probably one of the end timers that think he will come very soon. I watched a tv show about them and one guy said; "I wake up every morning and am surprised that Jesus hasn't come yet." I mean seriously most Christians are not like that but those end timers are growing in popularity which is worrying. Some even selling kits to prepare you if you are left behind after the Rapture!

Suzi, do you expect to get a straight answer here lol

I think you refer to the Bahá'ís - They believe that Jesus's return "as a thief in the night" and "with the voice of the Archangel" and "with a shout" has already taken place.

Bahá&'iacutes; believe that the Dispensation of Jesus lasted 7 lunar centuries, and that the "Day of Resurrection" for all those "dead in Christ" occurred in 610 A.D.; when the Archangel Gabriel descended from heaven and appeared to the Prophet Múhammad with a "SHOUT"! That is when the Day of Resurrection occurred for all those who died before that Day. They were raised in the Unseen World and met Jesus in the "aer" (Greek: Unseen Realm).

Because of His unorthodox doctrines, and the fact that He advocated political and social change, The Báb was opposed, and was imprisoned and tortured. The Mullas (Muslim clerics) persecuted His disciples, who were called the Bábís ("Bahb-beez"); and had many of them arrested an tortured. Two young Bábis whose parents were killed tried to assasinate the Shah of Iran (who refused to protect the Bábis), and shot him while he was riding on his horse. But their pistols carried only bird-shot. Enraged, the Shah ordered the arrest of all Bábis; who then armed and tried to defend themselves and their families. About 20,000 of His followers~called Bábis ("bah-beez")~were killed.

In 1850 The Báb was taken to Tabriz (northwestern Iran) and tied up in a public square to be executed. The Muslim clerics brought in a Christian Armenian company of riflemen to execute Him; because Shi'a Muslim prophecies said that the Imam Mahdi would be killed by Muslims, and the clerics did not want the Bábis to claim The Báb's death a "fulfillment of prophecy". The 750 Armenian riflemen fired, and when the smoked cleared, The Báb was gone! The bullets had severed His ropes. He was found later back in His cell; finishing one last epistle to His followers.

The Armenian Christian regiment considered it a miracle and sign from God and utterly refused to fire upon The Báb again. So, a Muslim regiment had to be brought in. They fired, and The Báb was dead. Muslims truly had killed the Imam Mahdi, just as the Shi'a prophecies had foretold!

The remains of The Báb, and His disciple who was killed with Him, were secretly hid by the Bábis, and then, after most of the Bábis became Bahá'ís, the remains were taken to Akka, in northern Palestine (now Israel). Eventually, a beautiful shrine was built upon the northern slopes of Mt. Carmel; called The Shrine of The Báb; which remains today a major Bahá'í Holy Place, and one of Israel's greatest tourist attractions.

For the Jews or Mormons to build a 4th Temple on the holy mount Moriah- would mean they could have to destroy the Dome of the Rock; over the bodies of millions of dead Muslims who's ancestors would give their own lives to prevent that!

Simply put...there was no "Temple" for the "Lord of Hosts" to suddenly come to - the Bahai knew this, and believed that the Lord of Hosts would not "suddenly" come to a Temple of stone and brick and mortar, but to a "spiritual Temple" of true believers who were pure-in-heart! -

Christoph Hoffman preached and made thousands of converts; telling them they had to form a "spiritual temple" for Christ to return to when He appeared in the Holy Land. Several thousand of them sold all their belongings in Germany and migrated to Palestine. The first group arrived in Haifa, in 1868. A year later, in 1869, their colony was built. It became known as "The Templer Colony" or "The German Colony".p> Haifa in 1868 was a small Arab city of 4,000, on the shore of the sea next to the northern slopes of Mount Carmel. There the Templers bought land and built a "colony". The colony was a series of beautifully-made stone buildings (with red roofs) laid straight on either side of a broad tree-lined street that went directly from Haifa Bay to the northern slopes of Mount Carmel. They called the street "The Way of the Lord". Over the doors and windows of their homes and shops, the Templers wrote in German: "Der Herr Ist Nahe!" ("The Lord is Near!"). After 1948--when the Templers were forced out of Israel--the Jewish Zionists renamed the street. It is called today Ben-Gurion Avenue; named after the first Prime Minister of Israel, David Ben-Gurion.
