Why would an all-powerful god become flesh in order to sacrifice himself to himself so that his creation might escape the wrath of himself. Couldn't god, in his infinite wisdom, come up with something a little more efficient?

You would have thought so.... I mean, cold he not have just forgiven us without having to kill his own son? And how much of a sacrifice was that really? I mean, he new he was gods son and was coming back anyway. I think the guy needs help.

It depends on what you believe. Group A believes that God and Jesus are the same person. Group B believes that they are 2 separate. Think about group B, make more since?

Why create in the first place,???
Surely an 'all knowing' , 'all powerful' , 'all seeing' God knew in advance that humans would "sin" and die and go to 'hell' so why create in the first place? Unless God is not "all loving" ? Now there's a thing!
The whole christianity theory is flawed!

I don't believe in all that codswallop anyhow.
Jesus did it for fame. He was either crazy or sick of being poor and decided to get himself some people who'd believe him and treat him like a king (12 desciples)
Also, most of the things he said in the Bible are contradicted or plain wrong.
Like i remember one thing i read "If you act like children then you will live forever" he said this to children.
there were lots more... but i can't remember them XD
Oh yeah, he said to one guy who had lots of money "if you give all your riches away, then you will live forever"
If that was all true, wouldn't they be famous to this day?
And jesus would'nt LIE, would he? Unless he was a fake...

Well the way I see it is this, it takes us all our time to understand the things that happened in this world. So how are we expected to understand the things that happens in the next world.
