Excuse my grammar.

The reason I said “…as bad as Christians” was because of Atheists, they say that Christians are bad, mean, hypocrites etc, but they didn’t know that they’re as bad as Christians.

No offence, but I think some of you people (Atheists) are kinda bad too. You do say some Christians are disrespectful and all, but I also find SOME of you disrespectful too. You say words like: “I wiped my *** with a bible’s page”, “I burnt my bible”, “Christians are bad”, “losers” etc and etc.

Oh yes, true, there are some mean hypocritical Christians (that I also find irritating), but why should I be as bad as them by insulting them repeatedly (this means were equally bad, so one of us should stop this argument). I would ignore them instead of insulting them, ‘cause like you said “they’re brainwashed”. You Atheists say “I feel sorry for them, because they’re so brainwashed”. Christians claim that they’re “loving” etc and you Atheists claim to be “open-mind”, “educated” etc which I believe you guys are, then why you waste your time insulting close-minded people? They won’t care about your words, they will not change.

Apparently in yahoo answers, Atheists have posted MORE questions that are against Christianity, than Christians did post questions that are against Atheism. I bet there Atheists writing and posting questions against Christianity right now as I’m writing this.

Though, there are some good Atheists, but most of the ones that hang around in here are very mean. AND I’M NOT A CHRISTIAN.

I agree with you. Like what the first answerer said, people do that all the time, like they compete with each other and say that they're better and all. I think there are bad people in every religion including Atheism (that's not a religion, though).

Just report those Atheists that say offending stuff, easy as that, mate. I also think that Christians and Atheists are equally the same, because most of the baddies come from there.

Hmmm, well the sad thing is it doesn't matter if u are christian or a heathen the real problem is that ppl will always find a reason to dislike and hate each other..there are nice and evil within every group class school business, church synagogue neighborhood , mosk and whatever else...the thing has to do with respect and live and let live...every one has different views...if we were all atheist there would still be division.. if we were all Christians the same thing...i think ppl and groups pick the exact opposite of there belief and choose to harass them cause they are different...its a viscous cycle one we need to over come as a race of ppl not groups secs or,what have you....hmmm when will we be a race of cooperative and non judging humans and not divided in ALL things....hmmmm?

You generalize too much. Of course there are atheists who act that way, but if you notice it is generally towards questions that are condescending in nature. When you ask a loaded question insinuating something vile and disgusting about atheists, what do you expect the atheist to do? Sit back and let himself be insulted in that way?

I'm all for more respect, but I believe in respecting the person, not his beliefs. It is hard for me to respect a belief that says that I will burn in a fiery place for all eternity. Although if you are respectful in your questions, I will answer with respect.

Also, I'm wondering how you came to the conclusion that atheists post far more questions against Christians than Christians do against atheists? Do you claim to be able to read the minds of the questioner to know what he truly believes?

If you do come across an answer which is insulting, like the examples you gave, then I would suggest that you report and move on. The reporting facility is there for just such an occasion.

How do you get off calling me mean? I take up for Christians half of the time. People who say they wipe their butt on the Bible and use it for toilet paper are ignorant. They should just be reported instead of complaining about them. I do say the Bible and religion is nonsense, but Christians say I am going to Hell so I feel it is a trade off.

"Apparently in yahoo answers, Atheists have posted MORE questions that are against Christianity, than Christians did post questions that are against Atheism."

Apparently, you haven't bothered to read many questions here. Check my own question-to-answer ratio for the proof to belie your assertion.

"I bet there Atheists writing and posting questions against Christianity right now as I’m writing this."

I'll take that bet. You'd lose by a mile.

“I wiped my *** with a bible’s page”

Those are the worlds of disrespectful crackpots. No self respecting atheist gets that worked up over the bible.

Honestly, I think we're all being ********* here. I think I've asked a question similar to this twice. It's the extremists on both sides that give the moderates in both Christianity and atheism bad names.

The fool says in his heart,
"There is no God."
They are corrupt, and their ways are vile;
there is no one who does good.

I see quotation marks, but I don't recognize any of those quotes. But anyway, people insult people, no matter the faith or lack thereof.

Not much difference apparently, regardless of faith or no faith.
