Abdominal pains on right and left lower quadrants accompanied by bloody stools are indictive of ulcerative colitis; duodenal ulcer, viral gastroenteritis, endometriosis; menstrual cramps; adhesions from prior abdominal surgeries; rupture of ovarian cyst in women. Other causes are chronic pancreatitis and ulcer if pains are relieved by eating. The risks of ulcer include bleeding and rupture. Yellow mucus around stools might indicate fat globules in pancreatitis. In pancreatitis, there is depressed production of pancreatic enzymes to digest fats. Bloody stools might indicate bleeding hemorrhoids or colon polyps although there is no pain in both colon polyps and hemorrhoids.

Joint pains might be attributed to rheumatoid arthritis or athralgia. Always tired or CFS (chronic fatigue Syndrome) might be due to anemia or Hypothyroidism. Doyou know that low levels of thyroid hormone in Hypothroidism can also cause joint pains and stiffness?

Other common causes of abdominal pains are IBS( irritable bowel Syndrome) or IBS( Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome) such as Ulceratve colitis; bowel obstruction, hiatal hernia, and constipation, indigestionor dyspepsia and sickle cell crisis. PID can also cause abdominal pains. Peritonitis ( infection in the abdominal cavity) from let's say a ruptured appendix .UTI can also cause abdominal pains.

There are many things this could be. Any sort of infection (amebiasis, bacterial, etc.), Crohn's disease is certainly possible, as is Ulcerative Colitis, depending on your age cancer is a potential cause - though very unlikely if you're less than 50, could be polyps, diverticulitis (sort of a reverse polyp, where the colon has little outpouchings that collect material and get infected - again, somewhat age dependent). Rather than me taking a full history here, I'd say stop by a family doc's office for a referral to a gastroenterologist.
