Dashes, jewish not only never force their beliefs on anybody else, but they don't encourage converting to their religion either - more like the other way around, if you want to convert to judaism you must prove you are good enough for them

Thank heavens one is more than what this world can take........
it is quite a lucrative business to be an evangelist , to put it in a very commercial way. There are so many factions starting their own worship groups and churches only with the intention of making a fast buck. The gullible people want a sure short cut to heaven so they take these versions very seriously. Of course there are many exceptions to this but they are far outnumbered...a vast majority of people need blokes who perform magic on the stage and who often take the pleasure of running down other faiths....... is this not a despicable way to earn your living??

I am a Hindu. My understanding is:

There is no need to evangelize at all. It is generally criticised that Hindu's have so many Gods. If one analyses carefully, it simply means you can worship God in any way that suits you- as long as you don't interfere with others. In fact we say you must remain in whatever faith you belong to or were born into. God was a creations of cultures and societies depending upon that time. So each place created God in a way it can visualise that power called God. Without getting angry, think as to why present day Christians do not dress like Jesus? or present day Hindus do not dress like Shiva? Or Muslims like Allah or Mohammad? That is only because we have evolved through ages. Then should we not evolve in all aspects? This is equally applicable for all people and all religions of the world. As long as that does not happen we will be living in a divided world only. Be yourself and allow others to remain themselves! Simple,is it not?

Only Christian

Nope. People of non-Christian religions tend to be respectful of others' rights, and secure enough in their beliefs, that they don't have to try to FORCE them on others. Christians are the only ones actively trying to destroy others' beliefs.

I've seen Muslim evangelists; but very few. Something I've never seen, though is a Jewish one. I rather like Jews. They NEVER try to force their religion on anybody!
