Also called Diviner's Sage... Anyone tried it? Care to share your experiences?

I Initially posted this in Society & Culture-General but many people believe experiences like this to be very spiritual in nature so I thought I'd post it here too.

Informed answers only please!

p.s. this particular herb still happens to be 100% legal so no high horses or soapboxes please.

Only smoked it once but I'll say this: it was the FUNNEST experience of my life!

At first I thought I had inhaled candle wax (I had previously split a candle and well....I was high so It doesn't have to make sense) because it burned my throat REALLY bad. It tasted like burned fish. It took maybe...5 seconds to kick in and suddenly the horrible taste was gone and the entire world looked like I was looking through a peep-hole or wide-angle panoramic camera. I was sitting in a chair in the corner of the yard and I swear the wall to my right just. wasn't there anymore. I could see it but it was NOT there!

Came down pretty quickly....so fun.

Edit: I'll add: My friend smoked it the same night. He was, for some reason, able to stare straight up at the sky and still perfectly navigate the back yard o_0. He said all the plants were one giant plant and that they were part of the wall... yep...awesome

I guess salvia's effects could be defined as spiritual, hehe. Anyway, it's not worth it if you're able to buy... a certain other substance... where you live. Salvia is cool and all, especially for being legal, but it's one of those things you have to smoke with friends because it's boring alone.

The effects last all of 5 minutes, too, and it's expensive. It will make you laugh uncontrollably and see cool patterns and motions, but after a few minutes it's gone. You might hurt yourself, too, so have other people nearby.

Oh, I also wanted to mention that its negative physical effects are minimal and it's not addictive (not that anyone should smoke enough to become addicted anyway - it's a party drug).
