If you were in an airplane and the flight attendant came to you and said that the plane was going to crash and burn in 1 hour and the only way of survival was to put on this parachute and jump out before it happened what would you do? Common sense says you have 2 choices, 1 is to crash and die, or 2 is to put on the parachute then jump out and float safely to the ground and live. That is the purpose of the book of Revelation. It is a "revealing" of things to come.

Prophechy is God revealing to us what is to come. Many prophecies have already been fulfilled. Revelation is the last book for a reason. God's Word is finished and it is settled. God does not change so why would His prophecies?

Because it is better to get prepared than to sit around and be in for a big shock. At least God is giving you time right now to give you a choice to choose God or satan. So, you can never say that you didn't know about it on Judgement Day. For Christians and believers, knowing that we will not have to suffer in Hell, is very comforting. There is no mystery in what God is warning people about. Hell is real. God Bless You.

I can't speak for Revelations, but when I give people readings and future events are told of, It is to ease people into the transition gently. Something shocking they an now prepare for and react accordingly. Those who are prone to anxiety attacks can make a plan in their minds how to deal and cope with a situation.
Other times things are changeable, the prophesy can be showing a path that they are on now, and telling them to change it-The future look serves it's purpose to change itself.

You've found a contradiction in the Bible?! Alert the media.

I mean, it's not like there's anything in there to be taken seriously.
