My wife passed out in our home she was taken to the hospital and i ask the doctor to take a brain scan the doctor told me she probley pulled a muscle in her neck. She died about 6 days later with a brain aneurysm cause they would not do a brain scan. i blame the doctors for my wifes death.I don't trust any doctor

Sue, but, honestly...they usually can't do anything for an aneurysm, so finding it won't help. I don't trust dr.s either. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry this happened to you and your wife. To answer your question, some doctors do check people for aneurysms. My sister-in-law went to the emergency room with a bad headache, the doctor there did a brain scan on her to check for an aneurysm. Fortunately, she didn't have one. There are symptoms that cause a doctor to suspect an aneurysm, perhaps your wife didn't display those symptoms. However, if you asked for a brain scan, I think the doctor should have done one. I don't know how well aneurysms can be treated though.

I'm sorry to hear about your wife, and I can empathise with how you feel at this time, as I also lost a wife to illness, that was not identified until it was too late to reverse her problem. Doctor's are only human, just like the motor mechanics, and some tax inspectors. Don't lose faith in the doctors, they save far more people than they lose !.
