i cant stop snacking in between meals - i sit in an office all day and just eat and eat and eat! how do i stop and just eat my meals

chewing gum!! seriously, as long as somethings in your mouth, that can sometimes work. same for smoking! Anyway, worth a try!

Just make sure you snack on healthy things like fruit, fresh or dried (cut them into small pieces) and carrot, celery and cucumber sticks dipped in fat free cottage cheese with a squirt of sweet chilli sauce. Don't be tempted by buying or bringing in fattening things. I work in an office at a really boring job where I am alone most of the time so I know! Good luck

It's probably boredom. Try chewing gum or drinking water.
For me I just gave in. I snack all day too. I just bring along a lot of fruits and vegetables so when I'm snacking at least I'm snacking on healthy stuff

You can't stop yourself from eating? Jesus, it's easier just to sit than get up and fetch snacks, god forbid you actually get a bit hungry...

I mean really, what's the worst case, you actually get a little peckish? God. If you can hold out till your next meal youl enjoy it more too...

do some thing exciting... examine a e book draw a image, run around the block. thats what i do to maintain from snacking all day i basically have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a bedtime snack.

Just start drinking lots of water, and fruits like apples and pears.. (prefferably apples), and water-like tastless foods...

Water just keeps me from eating food and fills my stomach but only fills it up..brain doesnt get much so you have to balance the amount you take..and i read on AOL somewhere that apples and other fruits like that are foods that help you going back for another sugar cookie.. hey it works.. trust me, you'll get used to it.. :]

buy some carrot sticks or rice cakes- dont stop snacking just change what you eat, also tell other people to moan at you if you buy bad foods
