I tend to stick with oval racing, but I do follow off road. I have other series that I watch with more intrest than NASCAR. ARCA, WoO, UMP, ASA, IMCA are but a few of the other oval racing series I follow.
In off road, I follow MAORA, CORR (they are as bad as NASCAR), WSORR, BitD, and SCORE.
ALMS is ok, but I prefer other series. I really wish they'd gotten STRANA off the ground!!

1) Dirt Late Models they don't need to be part of a series. When they are on a high banked track running two or three wide all the way around, nothing beats it.
2) World of Outlaws/ IRA Sprint cars. The same reasons as the late models accept the is just something special about a little car with a big motor and wing. It's incredible to watch as the left front tire comes off the ground for most of the straightaway, from the torque of the motor.
3) SCCA club racing. Good tight racing.
4) American Le Mans. Really nice road racing series the open cockpit in the P1 and P2 class reminds me of old Can Am cars.

Good choice I am at there race every year at Mid Ohio. I personally just love racing. Every series is pretty good to me. The AMLS and IMSA are a great series too if only for one reason it is a fan friendly series.
I have to say at a long period of my life I was a devoted NA$CAR fan and then in 2000 when they made the big TV deal and then my hero getting killed at Daytona started taking the wind out of my NASCAR sail. Now with there despicable backyard rules, the chase, top 35, G,W,C finishes and cup drivers taking over the Busch series well, it just doesn't do anything for me any more.
I really enjoy the V8 supercars from down under. No playing around with these guys.
The IRL is as close to the old Indy car series as there is and a mixing of tracks.
I love to watch the 2 wheel guys on Sunday afternoon instead of NA$CAR. These guys on the pavement are true balls to the wall racers. Not much on motorcross.
Well I have to get to work but good Q and I may add to it later but i really gotta get.

My favourite racing series is the Porsche Carrera Cup.
Firstly, the Porsche GT3 Cup race cars in the series are exactly identical - only differing slightly from car set-up choices. This makes the racing very close, and ultimately means that in the end, the most skilled driver will be victorious.
Secondly, the Porsche Carrera Cup is very unique in the world, in terms of the types of vehicles involved. The cars are driven by a 400bhp, boxer six-cylinder engine, one of the most rare arrangements in modern day vehicles. It is also the only series in the world which hosts rear-wheel driven vehicles - another unique aspect.
Thirdly, the Carrera Cup is an international series which takes place on a variety of race tracks in different countries around the world: Asia, Australia, Great Britain, and Germany. My favourite track they race on is Bathurst, Australia.
Finally, the cars sound absolutely gorgeous. The beautiful sound of the six-cylinder engine at 8000rpm is like no other.

NHRA drag racing. Its alot better to see in person than Nascar. Nascar is my favorite but as far as excitement and the noise and speed its the NHRA.
