i was curious what great exercies there are to lose those love handles, and the fat around my waist. i just recently had a baby and i still have some of that pregnancy weight that i want to get rid of. any suggestions on what i should do to get rid of it, fastest possible?

or just weight in general? since i have her and her dad is deployed, i am still around the base and don't have any family, so would perfer to do exercies that i can do at home. does walking help that much? say if i add 30-60 minutes of walking a day, how much weight should i expect to lose a week/month?

plus, is it better to eat 5-6 REALLY small meals a day to lose weight, or just one small meal? i am on diet pills (perscription) so am never hungry!!! should i still try to get myself to eat 5-6 times a day? or just stick with my one small meal? i only drink water too... so that isn't an issue.

thanks!

Sit Ups! Those are my least favorite words I think! But really that is the only way to tone back up. Flaking is good for the whole body but the mid section needs a direct work out. Sorry!!!! You could probably loose a couple pounds a week the first will be fluid of course. Don't get discouraged if it is slow and maybe you gain a couple cause muscle weighs more than fat. So if you gain a couple but loose in size that is a good thing!

Walking is/has been proven one of the best exercises for both body and brain. In order to lose weight simply begin with casual strolling, pushing an infant carriage or stroller burns even more calories. If you have time to go by yourself speeding up the pace of walking gradually as you get back into shape will burn even more. Best bonus is walking is aerobic, weight bearing, and muscle building all at the same time. Getting outdoors is very relaxing for most people. Pick a time a day when streets are not crowded. Yes, eating small meals 4 or more times a day is healthier than 3 big ones.

avoid diet pills. Weight loss pills are widely advertised as quick method to lose weight. These are food supplements and are not regulated by the FDA or any authority. Some weight loss pills may help you lose weight for a short time, but after a month or so, the body becomes immune to them.
I found information on weight loss pills and their side effects at http://www.toloseweight.org/weightlosspill.html

A rigid work out like stomach crunches and sit ups can help in losing some fats in your belly. Vegetables, lean meat, eggs, brown rice, wheat and oat bran, and dairy products like milk and cheese are considered as healthy meal perfect for your diet especially when you're exercising. You can avoid this unwanted belly by having a healthy eating habit.

sadly, I believe the maximum "healthy" weight loss per week is 2lb.

If you eat too little, your body thinks its starving and can start to eat muscle.

Invest in a heart rate monitoring watch, and find your "fat burning zone" and try to stay in it.
