If you are asking if you can add that into your GPA, the answer is no, but that's not what I think you are asking.
I wouldn't think you could rank being an Eagle Scout on that kind of scale. It's importance is different to each individual. It does look good on college applications because of the community service and the dedication/activites, and I think you can actually get scholarships for it.
I think it would be worth staying in it.

It's impossible to answer that question. It's two completely different things. If you are asking whether being an Eagle Scout can compensate for a low GPA, I'd say it could potentially help, depending on the situation. If you come across as sharp, professional, clean-cut, respectful, articulate, and the fact that you're an Eagle Scout comes up, I think it will have some value.
I'm an Eagle Scout and 20 years later, that still impresses people. I never would have thought it at the time, but it does.

GPA isn't everything. Schools look at GPA, test scores, entrance essays, and extracurricular activity, like Eagle Scouts.
I had a friend in college who was an Eagle Scout and he stood out as someone with exceptional leadership ability.
I think being an Eagle Scout helps one to have good ethics. It builds character, and that's what really matters, because if underneath you're just pure ambition with no character, you'll eventually be a failure.
I say be excellent in what you're doing. Part of being successful is personality and character, not only education. Achieving Eagle Scout-goals will build that character and personality that will make you successful in so many other areas besides academics.

Being an Eagle scout is a good thing. Are you asking about how a college admissions dept would value that accomplishment? That would vary by school. Also keep in mind most college applicants have accomplishments also. Just do what you do and let the chips fall where they may.

I would say getting your Eagle is rated at a 3.0 out of 4. It's not so much the stuff you LEARN that's important, it's that you stick to something till it's done....THAT'S what'll get you a long way in life. Just get it.
