id have to go with the PS3 w/ a 6 month warranty that way you will only have to buy a game which will probably take a month and you'll be able to play it for a longer time.I mean I would get the ps3 w/ a 6 month warranty because if you were to get a ps3 w/ a 3 month warranty you will only be playing it for three months, you know what I'm saying.

The Playstation 3 comes with a 1 year warranty already. Get the free game.

Hi!
I didn't get any warrenty on my ps3 and i have had it since december, but it came with a normal 1 month... if it breaks they replace it for free. Normally all problems will react within 1 month. Unless you do something out of the ordinary such as not enough space. I still have my ps3 working just as fine as it ever was, and for you free game you should get resistance: fall of man or rainbow six vegas. They are pretty fun.

get the free game. ps3 won't break down if you follow proper set up. the main reason for a break down would be overheating caused by improper ventillation. just keep 4" [100mm] clear all around the console and you should be fine. any other breakdown or defect will be covered by the 1 yr waranty. get the game (it's free!)

I would go with the 6 month warranty because i just recently got an XBOX 360 and it scratched one of my discs but i had the warranty so i brought it back and got a new one.
