Just type "schizophrenia" into Yahoo! web search and a "ton" of links comes up; among the first of them wikipedia has a good summary. There are forums and support groups listed too where you can get opinions from actual sufferers from the disorders (I say disorders because schizophrenia is not a single disease but a spectrum of disorders.) and you should consider their views too as with medications many live nearly normal lives.

If you would like the views of a person who has had the diagnosis for over 40 years go to my profile and read my questions and answers pertaining to the subject and/or e-mail me for more info.

Good luck in your search, good mental health, peace and love!
