I see it like this: If God did not want certain animals to be here (Such as Lions, Tigers, Cougars, Bears, Wolves, ect.) He would not have created them! I am strongly against cruelty or killing animals unless you are gonna eat that animal, or you are protecting yourself and your family! I do not believe it is right for anyone to go out and kill the wonderful creatures that God created for no reason! I mean like making a bear rug in your home or having all of these trophies on your wall! I believe it would not be right to wipe out an animal to the point of extinction. If God instructed Noah to bring Lions, Tigers, Leopards, Cougars, Bears ect. on the Ark, then that tells me God wanted those animals to be here! If not, he would have told Noah to just let them drown! I know some Christians who think wolves are evil! What? Jesus spoke in parables! He was referring to "men" when he said "wolves in sheeps clothing" Because men can be like animals! But all animals are already forgiven!

I believe that humans are not to be compared to animals. We are a spirit and animals are not. I am not for cruelty to animals but I eat meat and I wear leather. God started this in the garden of Eden after Adam and Eve sinned. I do not believe in hunting for a sport.
I think there is coming a day when the lion and the lamb will lay down together. When Jesus comes there won't be anymore killings. Oh happy day!!

Before the more zealous Biblical Literalists got their panties in a bunch over the work of Darwin, they were arguing that extinction was impossible because of the reasons like you are giving.
Give it up fundies. The Bible is NOT meant to be a literal history OR a science book. If that's all you get out of it, you might as well not even read the thing. The only good you can get from the Bible for this Earthly life boils down to "Be nice". I've always believed you can judge a person by how they treat animals. It's how they would treat people if there was no fear of punishment.

Almighty God has the ability to restore life to any dead thing, and He can even re-establish a species that has become extinct.
And he has given us a respnsibility.
(Revelation 11:18) But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give [their] reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.”
Note the last line. It is us ruining the earth that can cause extinctions.
As to animals that can cause harm'
In Jesus' day there were still middle east lions and bears., When Jesus sent off his disciple to preach, he told them to buy swords...to protect themselves from wild animals.
But specifically NOT people.. To them they had to " turn the oher cheek"
In God's new system, these same animals will do no harm .
(Isaiah 65:25) “The wolf and the lamb themselves will feed as one, and the lion will eat straw just like the bull; and as for the serpent, his food will be dust. They will do no harm nor cause any ruin in all my holy mountain,” Jehovah has said.

Ecclesiasties 3, Solomon the Wise Man wrote:
18. I also thought, "As for men, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals.
19. Man's fate is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; man has no advantage over the animal. Everything is meaningless.
20. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return.
21. Who knows if the spirit of man rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?"

I agree with you completely. Man has been given dominion over the animals - animals are not evil but they are affected by the sin that is in the world- we are to bee good stewards and take care of the animals God put on this earth- I don't, however, believe that 'save the animals' campaigns should become our God or we should be so obsessed with conservation and protecting the animals that we neglect the command to love our neighbor.

maximum, yet no longer all, Christians believe that God created the universe. "enable the water below the sky be amassed in a single place, and enable dry floor seem." What does the earth appear like? One great physique of water (waters are in a single place) in uncomplicated terms separated by ability of land right here and there. Atheism provides people an get away from the sadistic God of their childhoods, yet so some distance as anybody can tell there is not any longer one element interior the Bible that's no longer authentic. Any fool can inform you there is numerous water in the worldwide, yet would anybody have ordinary what the great planet fairly looked like from area 1000's of years in the past? in all probability no longer. the two whoever wrote this in basic terms handed off to get it outstanding or it rather is the fact with regard to the earth and somebody become given a divine revelation to place in scripting this.

Animals are part of God's Creation, and as such, we are commanded to be good stewards of that Creation. Where the Bible says that God gave man "dominion" over all other creatures, that's what is meant. We are sort of like caretakers of nature and all wildlife.
You are correct about one thing - God wouldn't have created them if He didn't want them here.....
BTW - Animals don't need to be forgiven. Animals do not have the knowledge of good and evil, and their actions are not moral or immoral. Therefore they cannot commit sin.

They are animals. They might be beautiful animals. And I don't know why you think that Christians are ALL lusting after bear rugs, fur coats, and things like that.
You must not know many Christians.
