YES! eating healthy won't just help you loose weight, but make you healthier. My boyfriend stopped eating junk food, drinking sodas, and ran 2 miles a day and dropped about 20 lbs in just a few months. It can definitely help, but just remember to exercise as well.

Eating diet foot and quitting the junk food and sodas will help. However it will be slower to lose weight this way. If you can incorporate 3 work-outs a week, you will see significant results faster. I would start out with brisk walks (30 minutes each Monday - Wednesay & Saturday's. Trust me...I lost 35 pounds in 5 months...but somewhere around the 3 month...I started doing aerobics, and lots of running. Sodas are bad for you anyway...so stay away from those.

Good Luck!

It indeed would and I encourage you to do so! I assume you want to loose some good amount of weight. Stopping junk will definitely help, however you shall look into moderate excercise too to help achieve the desired result. I suggest you replace soda with sparkling water to wean yourself off soda if you drink a lot of it. Changing few things in your eating habbits will help you loose weight, however if you support it even with little exercise, it will help you even more.
Good luck.

Biggest culprits of gaining weight:

1. Sugar
2. Fried foods
3. Sodas / Diet sodas too! Studies say that people who consumed diet soda gained more weight than ppl who drank regular.

You have to eat 3 small healthy meals a day with a healthy snack between each meal and at bedtime to help keep the blood sugar level. You need to exercise and burn off more calories than you take in.
