No.

Masturbation would break a priest's vow of chastity.

Judeo-Christian tradition has taught for thousands of years:
1. Single people should be celibate.
2. Married people should be faithful to each other (adultery is wrong).

The Catholic Church recognizes the power of sex when it teaches, "Sexuality affects all aspects of the human person in the unity of his body and soul."

Chastity means the successful integration of sexuality within the person. A chaste person's body and spirit lives in unity and opposes any behavior that would impair that unity.

Masturbation is contrary to the human dignity of the person, anyone about whom the person has lustful thoughts, and the dignity of human sexuality.

For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, section 2352 and following: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt3sect2chpt2art6.htm#2352

With love in Christ.

Can Priests Masterbate

If you are a priest, chances are you committed your life to a the Roman Catholic Faith, meaning that you fully and completely believe in that religion. Therefore, you would likely give up the better things in life, like sex, nice car, nice house, etc. You would also likely pray a lot more than the typical person, therefore, you have your mind focused on other things. Even if you are not a priest, sex, or the fantasy of it, is one of humanity's basic instincts, and the human mind resorts to those when their brain activity is at a low. So if you are always thinking about something, and have an active mind, you won't really resort to those basic instincts as easily as the dumber people.

Roman Catholic priests (whom I assume are the subject of your question) are not permitted to masturbate. Neither, for that matter, are any Roman Catholics. Paul VI's "Declaration on Certain Questions Concerning Sexual Ethics" states:

"The traditional Catholic doctrine that masturbation constitutes a grave moral disorder is often called into doubt or expressly denied today. It is said that psychology and sociology show that it is a normal phenomenon of sexual development, especially among the young....

"This opinion is contradictory to the teaching and pastoral practice of the Catholic Church....both the Magisterium of the Church--in the course of a constant tradition-- and the moral sense of the faithful have declared without hesitation that masturbation is an intrinsically and seriously disordered act."

The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches, for clergymen as well as laity:

2352 By masturbation is to be understood the deliberate stimulation of the genital organs in order to derive sexual pleasure. "Both the Magisterium of the Church, in the course of a constant tradition, and the moral sense of the faithful have been in no doubt and have firmly maintained that masturbation is an intrinsically and gravely disordered action." "The deliberate use of the sexual faculty, for whatever reason, outside of marriage is essentially contrary to its purpose." For here sexual pleasure is sought outside of "the sexual relationship which is demanded by the moral order and in which the total meaning of mutual self-giving and human procreation in the context of true love is achieved."
To form an equitable judgment about the subjects' moral responsibility and to guide pastoral action, one must take into account the affective immaturity, force of acquired habit, conditions of anxiety or other psychological or social factors that lessen, if not even reduce to a minimum, moral culpability.

2396 Among the sins gravely contrary to chastity are masturbation, fornication, pornography, and homosexual practices.

I have a friend who went to confession when he was a little kid and told the priest that he masturbated, and the priest said "that's very bad son. You have to leave that to older people, like me." I'm not kidding.

No...but they CAN spell.

Masturbation is a grave sin against the dignity of a person and their sexuality. It takes the gift of sexuality which is intended only to be given to one's spouse and instead turns it inward into a selfish act.

Not Christian should masturbate.

Priests take a vow of celibacy. Means no sex. Masturbation would be self sex, so no they do not masturbate. That would be breaking their vows. People can live very happy and joyous lives without sex. sex is not all there is to life, there are much more important things in this world then a physical relationship with someone.
