if you have excel i can shoot you a copy of my caloric expenditure....but basically you need to spend about 500 more calories per day per pound per week.

so....10 pounds in 5 weeks is 2 pounds per week...to pounds per week is about 1000 calories per day.

you can either cut out 1000 calories from daily diet....or increase the amount of work you do in one day....burning 1000 calories is the same....i belive is running on a tredmill for 3.5 miles.

this can be alot for the body...so i would suggest, increase your work by about 500-700 calories burned....2 miles....

and then deficit the rest from your diet....NO SODA!!!!!!

if you need to hit me up on my calorie deal...i can email it to you....use this email so i dont get lots of spam...phi1up@yahoo.com

and here is another link....but its severally flawed...but it reaffirms the 500 calories a day for 7 days equals 1 pound.

dont try to cram your body into either....you can be counter productive.

Pilates! I swear by it.. I lost 2 lbs a week.
It's fairly easy and you feel really good after wards. If you can afford it get the DVD in the link below. Believe me I have about 20 Cd's this is the best! No tools required.. I didn't even use a mat:) LOL

Diet:

1. No sugar for 5 weeks,
2. No fried foods
3. Drink plenty of water

Measure yourself every week. You'll see that your body is shrinking. Pilates leans your whole body out!

I lost 4 inches all around! and almost 30 lbs:)

Check out the links below.

Let me know how you do!

Good Luck!

There's no easy way to lost 10 pounds in 5 weeks. If you want to do things easy, you have to decide on reasonable goals, like 1 pound every 2 weeks or so. Because then it's easy, you skip one dessert here, or one plate of spaghetti or fries there.

Even the suggestion to eat low carbs, if you really want to do it the easy way, will take like 2, or 2 1/2 months.

If you really need to lost 10 pounds in a month or so, you'll just have to exercise. That's not easy. But the choice is yours.

Well, it took me 6 weeks to lose 10 lbs, so I'm sure you could lose 10lbs in 5 weeks. I worked out for an hour 3-4 times a week. I worked out with a trainer, but you don't necessarily have to. Three of those days I did weights and cardio, and the 4th day was just one hour of cardio. Make sure when you do weights, you just focus on one group: abs and back, arms, or legs. Make sure you have at least one day of rest or cardio between your weight days. Get it? So, you can do like Mon, arms, Wed, legs, Fri, abs and back, and fill in the rest of the days w/cardio (or rest). I'm sure that if you worked out like 5 or 6 days a week, you could lose 10 lbs in 5 weeks. If I were you, I would do 3 days of weights and cardio (30 min each--do the weights FIRST), and then the rest of the days do one hour of cardio. Oh, and another thing I did (and have kept doing and am still losing), is I eat a fruit or veggie w/every meal. So, fruit w/breakfast, maybe some baby carrots w/a sandwich for lunch, and two servings of veggies w/dinner. And there's really no excuse. Veggies arent that hard--just buy a bunch of frozen veggies and 'steam' them in the microwave! And if you want to snack, eat fruit or string cheese. And I did eat a decent amount, especially on days I worked out, so you don't have to starve yourself!! Just eat at home, restaurant food is the worst! And drink plenty of water. Whew! Sorry this is so long...it sounds like a lot, but it's a lot easier than it sounds! Hope this helps! :)

Honestly I lost 56 lbs. in 4 months I ate all fruits and veggies uncooked all day one healthy meal at night like skinless chicken stay awawy from too many carbs drink water and natural juices that are not from concentrate and dont have any added sugar. go jogging or clean your house at least 20 to 30 minutes everyday. the key to losing weight is finding food and exercise you like. and start on a monday it's psychological. and if you fall off of your diet once dont throw it out the window all together dont give up and stick to it you can do it. It also helps if you have some kind of support or someone you can work out and/or diet with. hope this is helpful!

Eat smaller portions higher in protein and lower in carbs to help lose weight. Dont drink any soft drinks including diet coke. Make sure you eat plenty of protein to fill your stomach longer. Eat 5 small meals and eat slower. You will feel more full. Make sure you keep a diary during the 5 weeks. You will be surprised how much weight will come off.

same answer as if you had asked to lose 10 pounds in 5 years. Eat less calories and exercise a little more.

Also, I wouldn't set a time deadline like that. (Why five weeks?) That's a recipe for disappointment, suffering, and anxiety. Forget fad diets and try to change your longterm habits.

If you want to loose weigth try drinking a lot of water before you go to sleep but you don't have to go to the bathroom on the night. Also if you drink the water kind of warm it will be better to loose weight. Believe me this works. this is what I have been doing. Try to drink 1 liter every night.
