Have you tried Yahoo People Search? If he doesn't seem to be listed there, broaden your search to the whole state (if he's not named something like John Smith), in case he lives in a suburb with a different port office. If he's still not listed, Yahoo will give you a link to Intelius, whch charges, though not much. Before you get to the paying stage, it will show you a list of people with that name in the location you're searching in, sometimes with thier ages, which should help you pinpoint the right one.
