My boyfriend has a little 6 cup coffee maker. It is really annoying. So I got this brand new coffee maker for free, kind of with him in mind. Now I'm wondering if it is lame, or wierd to give it to him.

Yes, I think that would be thoughtful, which you are.
If he drinks coffee and you, the 6 cups just does not do it.
With the one he has, just takes time to start another pot. why wait.
No it is not lame or weird.....as I said, it is thoughtful and very
considerate of you.
He is lucky to have a girlfriend like you. I hope he is as wonderful to you.

I think it's a great present. It is something you can both get use out of. you could use it for the first time to accompany a nice breakfast or something. May as well make it romantic.

Women are more likely to read too much into gifts like that than men are. He'll most likely appreciate it and not wonder if you're judging him for his coffee!

Is he a big coffee drinker? If so, I think it would be the perfect practical gift. Go for it! I agree with the idea of throwing in a DVD or something too...I'm sure he'll love it. You seem like such a warm caring person. There's no way that he could miss that! You're just expressing your devotion to him!

It is thoughtful and considerate to buy a gift that you know the user will definitely use and enjoy. It is not lame or weird. Throw in some of his favorite coffee, too.

Give it to him along with something else. If he knows you already got it for free, he may think your kinda cheap, also guys like practical gifts, gifts they can use, he may think your gift is just a duplicate and kinda wasteful or even thoughtless. So throw something else in the coffee maker box, like a small flashlight, a multi-tool, a DVD, something he can use....good luck

We want better for people that we like/love.
Give him the coffee maker.
Tell him, you thought about him.

How much coffee does he drink? If you can make more use of it then why don't you ask yourself about your relationship with him in order to ask this Q
