But cos of his stuttering problem he is been denied many opportunities to move forward. I feel bad for him, as he feels down every now and then cos of this. I want him to get over this feeling and get over the stuttering problem. He did try to go to a hypnotist once which helped him for a while, but later it was back to same. Your best source for help for stuttering is The Stuttering Foundation of America, a nonprofit group started by a stutterer. The book, Self Therapy for the Stutterer, is one used by therapists, as one of my stuttering uncles found out. The other uncles and cousins who used to stutter got the book and worked through the steps on their own. All of them became much more fluent. It is available in the estore of the Foundation, at Amazon.com, and at some public libraries.

SPEECH DISORDERS: GENERAL ADVICE FOR ALL DISORDERS: Use the WebFerret search engine, your own, and the Wikipedia, and Google websites. GROUPS, at Myspace, Yahoo, and/or Google may be of assistance, and also contact the state, and national bodies for more information. STUTTERING :Try deliberately slowing your speech, or putting some marbles in your mouth. It may also be helpful to visit page 38, on self confidence, and use daily, the EFT, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris on page 2: "I accept myself completely and deeply, even though I may stutter". He may well need regular daily reinforcement of the Post Hypnotic Command, to first consider what he is about to say, and then speak slowly, and clearly, which you can try through autosuggestion, (self hypnosis) at the foot of page 3, at ezy-build.
