That my dear would actually depend on how well your friend handles tequila. Every person is different. Some might not remember anything and others might remember everything. Your just gonna have to take your friend's word for it, unless you can PROVE otherwise.

Definitely. I'm in college and drink heavily about 3 times per week. Tequila is some potent stuff. I've probably drank more than 13 shots several times and been relatively coherent (e.g. remember everything). But, I've also had less and blacked out. Remember, I'm a serious drinker and weigh about 170. Depending on whether or not you've eaten well or are on other drugs (pot, prescriptions, other booze), you can get hit real hard on any given night. I take pride in handling myself, but I've definitely blacked out on tequila, probably around 10 shots. My friends told me I was stumbling around, mumbling, and generally acting belligerent, and I didn't recall anything. This has happened with many different liquors, but I'd have to say tequila is especially likely to knock the socks off someone. Please give your friend a pass on this one.

Yes she can have honestly forgotten after that much tequila. If she is a small person and not used to drinking than very likely she is not lying. But than I have seen others people who drink alot and still if they consumed the drinks quickly still black out on some events that's happened while drinking.

It could happen, although it never does to me, or at least I don't think it does. Even though I haven't drank in a long while I can really put away some tequila. Never a problem, but for some it is trouble.

After 13 shooters of tequila, forgetting what happened is generally considered to be a blessing, not a curse.

this is dangerous. this is your red flag. if she is drinking at this level and has had what people call black outs. this is real. she does not remember . believe her. this is a common symptom with alcohol addiction. also watch her. depending how she reacts and her body weight she could die from alcohol poisoning. i want to be an alarmist here. people do die from too much. 13 shots is not a moderate or even small amount of alcohol. also increases in alcohol tolerance mean addiction as well. i worry for your friends and you. i am not a prude but have seen, like many others, what addiction means. she had a blackout and she is lucky she woke up.

13 shots is no big deal. Been there, done that. My friend concussed after 5 shots though and we had to send her back. So it depends on a person's threshold for alcohol.

They might have sportty recall (provided they do not die in the process. 13 shots is near lethal levels)
