The vet can tell you within minutes with a urine or blood test, just like humans, and don't worry, it doesnt cost much (If you dont already have a vet, you can call around for rates, as this is a very simple and common test). Had you noticed that she was "in heat" anytime in the last few months?

If you dont take her to the vet to find out, all you can do is wait a little longer and see if she continues growing - a pregnant cat's belly feels harder and more bumpy than a cat who is simply fat, and the rest of the body isnt proportionate. You'll know the difference. Also, you may notice her nipples beoming more prominent (not always). If you discover that she is pregnant, KEEP HER IN THE HOUSE, since even though she loves you, she will try to seek out a safe place away from humans to give birth, and it can be ridiculously hard to track down the "nest". You will also want to find a very private and cozy place (like a small closet) to put a box with soft towels in the bottom, and introduce her to it by putting dishes of her favorite food in the area, and leaving her alone when there, so hopefully thats where she will have her babies.

P.S. - I dont want to get into politics, and neither do I want to earn 20 "thumbs down", but if you take her to the vet and they tell you that she is pregnant, and there is no way that you are going to be able to handle her having kittens (lack of space at local shelters - or only kill shelters, lack of friends willing to adopt, absolute inability to pay for the kittens first shots, etc), then yes, vets can, will, and do (commonly) perform animal abortions up to a certain stage. No judgments or opinions given by me here, im just giving you the FACTS. At that time the will also insist on spaying, which Im sure you are going to do right away, post pregnancy, or if she turns out not to be, as spaying also extends a female cat's lifespan by 2 years on average, along with enhancing her overall health :)

Your pregnant cat will start eating a lot more and demanding a lot more food. After all, it’s eating for more than just one! A pregnant cat likely won’t start eating more, however, until just a few days before delivery. So when this starts to happen, you can be assured that she’s about to give birth.

Further, you’ll notice your cat behaving a bit differently than you’re accustomed to. Pregnant cats are normally quieter and more loving than they are when they aren’t pregnant. Also, you can count on seeing the kittens in the uterus area within a week of delivery. This sometimes freaks some owners out, but it’s normal.

It’s important for you to notice that your cat is pregnant as early as possible. This allows you time to study how cats react during pregnancies and be best prepared for delivery. In the days leading up to delivery, you want to be sure to prepare a soft place for your mother cat to give birth and another place for her kittens to sleep. The birthing process is often a messy one, but the mother typically will take care of it. You should monitor the newborns as soon as you realize the mother has given birth in order to make sure they’re clean and healthy and that the mother is okay.

The previous answers are correct - most definite way to tell by yourself is feeling her tummy to see if it's feeling harder or more solid. Even if it isn't yet, take her to the vet to see what they say. My cat slipped out and had a little before I had the chance to have her spayed, so I understand.

If she does turn out to be pregnant, things to watch for is where she decides to make her hiding place, and try and make it comfortable for her. My cat picked the bottom of my linen closet so I cleared it out completely and laid a towel down and tried to keep it as a fresh towel, so when she was ready to have her little she would be comfortable.

Well she could be an obese cat so you might not know if shes pregnant or just fat. You should see a vet or something just to make sure.

Take her to the vet to get her spayed. Then she won't be pregnant ever again and you won't be adding to the pet overpopulation problem where millions of kitties are killed because there are just too many.

the vet will either do an ultrasound, palpate (feel) or take an x-ray of her abdomen to determine whether or not she is pregnant. What makes you think she is?

Why isn't your cat spayed? Hello. Un-spayed cats get pregnant. Take her to a vet to confirm if she is pregnant and while you are there ask about getting her spayed!!
