The Bible says we have an angel, and he reports to God. I don't remember seeing anything in the Bible that says or implies that angels keep a record of anything that we do. But since God keeps track, maybe He has an angel do it. But in any case, the angel (s) would be doing it on order of God.

Though they have wills, the angels are, like all creatures, subject to the will of God. Good angels are sent by God to help believers (Hebrews 1:14). Here are some activities the Bible ascribes to angels: I am not too sure about their record keeping though. Perhaps they leave that to God.
A. They praise God (Psalm 148:1,2; Isaiah 6:3).
B. They worship God (Hebrews 1:6; Revelation 5:8-13).
C. They rejoice in what God does (Job 38:6-7).
D. They serve God (Psalm 103:20; Revelation 22:9).
E. They appear before God (Job 1:6; 2:1).
F. They are instruments of God's judgments (Revelation 7:1; 8:2).
G. They bring answers to prayer (Acts 12:5-10).
H. They aid in winning people to Christ (Acts 8:26; 10:3).
I. They observe Christian order, work, and suffering (1 Corinthians 4:9; 11:10; Ephesians 3:10; 1 Peter 1:12).
J. They encourage in times of danger (Acts 27:23,24).
K. They care for the righteous at the time of death (Luke 16:22).

I find this hard to believe when God knows how many hairs are on our heads. Why does He need angels to keep a record? He knows everything and surely has a good memory:)

Hello there sister
I have some verses that speak something regarding this matter.
Matthew 12:36
" And I say to you that every idle word which men shall speak, they will render an account concerning it in the day of Judgement"
Luke 16:2
" And he called and said to him, What is this i hear concerning you? Render the account of your stewardship for you can no longer be a steward"
Hebrews 13:17
" Obey the ones leading you and submit to them for they watch over your souls as those who will render an account that they may do this with joy and not groaning for this would be unprofitable to you"
1 Peter 4:5
Who will render an account to HIM who is ready to judge the living and the dead"
We realize that what we do is recorded..If it is that angels do it or God in His omnipresence does it... I am not sure..
but the fact is we will give an account one day
Good Q sis

No I do not believe that Angels keep track of everything we do or think.
On Judgment day the sheep on the right side of God will go to Heaven and the goats on the left side will go to hell.
It's as simple as that.
Besides we were created to be above the angels and one day we will judge them (the fallen ones).

Hi Beth,
I believe the Angels are God's ministering spirits. They also keep record. May goodness and mercy follow you all the days of your life and one day may you dwell in Heaven with Jesus.
Have faith dear friends in God.

No. God is all-knowing. He wouldn't have a reason to have angels record everything we do.

The Bible never says that angels keep records of everything we do. However, when I get to heaven, I sure would like to ask my guardian angel what went on in my life which God wanted this angel to protect me from.
Angels are not to be worshiped. They only do what God wants them to do.
Here is a neat "guardian angels" story that I found to be very interesting. I've read more like this one & there are books written about them too.
This happened to me about 25 years ago and I will never forget it. I was on my way to Phoenix Az to visit my Mom for the first time in a lot of years. I took the bus from California to Arizona. Little did I know that I had a lay over from 12:30 Pm till 7:00 Am in Los Angeles bus depot! I settled in a seat and shortly a man approached me. He asked me to go with him to a party. I told him I was not interested in going with him to a party and I was a married woman. He continued to try to get me to go with him. By this time I was a little scared and I was getting tired. The man left for about 30 minutes or so and then came back to harass me some more. I kept telling him to leave me alone. There seemed to be not one person in site and I was very scared by now.
Suddenly two very large men came to me (I’m 5’2 and small, these guys were very large, my head was next to their shoulders) and sat on either side of me. I asked them if they were police men. They did not say one word to me; they just sat there next to me. I felt a peace come over me and I felt very safe. That guy came back and asked me again to come with him, he saw the men come and sit with me and the look on his face I will never forget! It was a look of fear and he literally ran out of the bus depot and I never saw him again.
The next thing I remember is waking up about 6:45 in the morning, my bag at my feet, my purse on my lap and all was well. I know for sure that these were my guardian angels protecting me! Thanks be to God!

Yes they do keep records of many of our activities and even thoughts. For example they will right down your thoughts about your tithe when you were at Church and if you really gave with joy in your heart.
I would suggest reading a Divine Revelation of Heaven by Mary K Baxter, Its a great book and it speaks alot on Angels and what they do in our lives etc.
