i am a 15 year old guy, and am in grade 10. I dont know why girls dont really like me, more than friends, or come up and talk to me. I am fairly good looking, 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, muscular, short brown curly hair, blue eyes, fasionable, and i play on the school football team. I am shy, but not really shy, i talk to guys and girls. I just dont know why girls dont like me, or atleast i think they dont, they dont come and talk to me or anything. what should i do?

Traditionally it is the man who makes the first move. This really sucks when you are shy and not confident, but it's the way it is - consider it as payment for a life being able to wear comfortable shoes all the time. Anyway the thing is that girls generally won't make the first move so you need to. If you think this means you are going to have to expose yourself to the possibility of rejection, you are right. Unfortunately you are just going to have to learn to live with that. Next time try just going up and starting a conversation with a girl you like, just talk to her the way you would to a guy and see how it goes, probably a lot better then you think. Good luck!
Oh and don't worry that they don't like you, girls at 15 are very cruel, if they didn't like you they would be ridiculing you and you would know all about it.

wow its weird cuz u sound perfect ...lol girls in my school would be all over u ...maybe u should try to talk more and relate to the girls around u...just try to become very good friends with all the girls u meet....cuz i really dont see a problem with u at all...the only thing i could think of is the shy part ..i know ur not out of control shy but the only other thing is that maybe ur too good lol ..that girls feel like u wouldnt give them the time of day so they dont even want to try ....well i hope that helped...and dont worry from what i know u will have a gf very very soon ..good luck

Get out of the shyness reput., I am shy too and am trying to overcome it! A lot of guys have liked me, like at the beginning of the school year because they think I am cute, sexy, hot, all of these things guys think and once they find out I am shy..they move on. Seriously, my school only has 60 people and around 19 guys, out of the nineteen, about 6-8 like me at the beginning of the school year. I'm not trying to brag, not that it is something to brag about anyways, but its true. Sense of humor has a lot to do with girls liking you. A poll was conducted and that was the number one thing that girls looked for in a guy. Its comes within us...hope I helped!

Two things you said that if i was a girl i wouldn't date you. First of all you sound so much like a nice guy...you dont have to be an *** but you dont have to say yes to every thing. And yea you might be good looking but if you dont have no game partna, you dont have nothing. Start talking to girls and get comfortable...the more you are around them the more comfortable youll get and then thats when youlll start meeting girls. Stop being so damn shy and be a little cocky!

It sounds like they might be too shy to approach you and show interest. Girls don't like to face rejection any more than guys do. If you meet someone that you are interested in, make it obvious! Hopefully that should help. But, then YOU have to take a chance. High School is hard. Sorry kid :/

You sound like a hunk. Just wait. It will happen one day real soon. Take a look at your clothes, hair cut. Take a personal inventory of yourself. Be fair. Do you need a new attitude? A new scent? Some really great after shave colone that would help bring attention to yourself. Good luck.

Don't worry Bro..... Every thing will be just fine.
My first advise is simple... just be yourself and treat the girls with respect.
The second bit of advise is to treat dating as a numbers game..... your gonna have to go after what you want. The more times you approach girls with the intention of dating them..... the more chances your going to have at being successful. Yes your gonna get shot down, but keep trying!

You have to stop being shy. At this age the girls are expecting you to make the first move. you just gotta jump in some girls will say yes and some will say no its all part of life.

Try your luck talking to them. If it don't work it is your personality & the way you make people feel or how you act. Remember that nobody ever sees you the way you see yourself. You have to step back & take a good look. Just try approaching them 1st before you go into all that.
