Can someone please tell me the following.... first song number of the service meeting as listed in the August 2007 Kingdom Ministry for the week of the 27th AND first song number of the service meeting as listed in the August 2007 Kingdom Ministry for the week of the 20th. Obviously, I am looking for an answer from a Witness.

Thanks in advance!

I should have anticipated a bit of suspision from any witnesses that read the question.....and included a bitm ore detail. I am not a Witnesses, but have been studying with the Witnesses on and off for the last ten years. My husband and I are new to our city. I'm pregnant, my husband is on the road often for work, and I was just hoping to find a few Witnesses to associate with in my area. I do plan to attend the meetings, but thought it might be easier...a bit more comfortable...if I knew a few people first. I found a website for Witnessess to use for dating and finding friends, but I needed to know the song information to register. Rest assured, my intentions are pure.

At times, a Jehovah's Witness will seek to "authenticate" an unknown internet contact who claims to be an active Jehovah's Witness. That is nearly impossible for an individual to do, when his reasons are personal. Of course, congregation inquiries can be facilitated by each branch office.

A publication such as "Kingdom Ministry" is personally handed to each current Witness by his book study overseer, just a week or two before the month during which it is used. Thus, some Witnesses believe that only a true Witness could know (for example) which song number is scheduled for a certain Service Meeting (for which the KM serves as a sort of "program"). Of course, the KM is NOT a secret publication and so it is not practical to believe that access to one constitutes a guarantee that the person is a Witness.

Nevertheless, there seems to be little sincere reason for a person to ask about this information here.

The best way and recommended way to meet Witnesses is to go to the local Kingdom Hall.

Why not try that?
