Some may say the allies, but the correct answer would be the Triple Entente. That answer is not completely correct, however. The Triple Entente was made up of France, Russia, and Great Britain; France and Great Britain were on the winning side, but Russia had withdrawn for the war before it ended.
The Triple Alliance was originally made up of Germany, Italy, and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Italy left the alliance and later declared war on the alliance. The Ottoman Empire became the third party of the alliance.

Germany , Austria - Hungary were known as the Central Powers France , Russia , Great Britain were known as the `Triple Entente` The Central Powers asked for an Armistice in 1918 . So to all intents and purposes the `Triple Entente` did win WW1

Nobody won.
We did it all over again and again and again.
Germany was on the brink of winning in 1918 when the US arrived and changed the whole thing. But that just ensured that WWII would happen 20 years later.
Really, everyone lost.
If only the US would have stayed out of it, the Germans would have beaten the French into submission and nixed the communist revolution in Russia.
Imagine a world with no communists and no French.
A win-win for the world.
But Woodrow Wilson had to stick his nose in it...
