You already know the answer, but I'll respond anyway. Your actions would be foolish, and dangerous. If you made it to the hospital safely, you would receive a multitude of citations.

I can answer this from actually having it happen to me. My wife's water broke and I was speeding to get her to the hospital. I should mention I was in a personally owned vehicle and not in my cruiser. I was about to turn left to the hospital and noticed pretty flashing blue lights in my rear view. I stopped at the first opportunity and already had my license, insurance card, etc out as the officer approached the vehicle. My engine was turned off and my interior light was on so the entire passenger compartment was illuminated. My hands were on the steering wheel and I wasn't watching the officer approach in the side mirror (I personally hate that). As he reached the window I handed my documents out the window and said, "Officer, I understand if you want to cite me, but could you please follow me to the hospital before you do? My wife's water broke and she's now in labor." The officer handed my license back and said, 'Go on and be careful, congratulations." My point in this long answer is, even though I am a police officer, I complied with his signal to stop. I should also mention that the officer had no way of knowing that I was also an officer, as I did not flash a badge or any other sort of ID. As the other answerers have noted, not stopping is only asking for trouble and an even longer delay.

She is just pregnant? Not a torso gun shot victim bleeding out? Giving birth is not an emergency, and you are driving recklessly so that there is a very good chance that you are going to hurt her, yourself and others
The cop should help you get her in for treatment and then throw the book at you for your foolish actions.
Maybe next time you don;t use birth control with your GF you will think about how many people you could have seriously hurt or killed.

Give you a ticket for speeding and wreckless driving.

1. Rarely does a woman go into labor and birth so fast that one can't make it to the hospital between the water breaking and the baby being born.

2. One can pull over, inform the officer of the situation, and then get an escort if the situation warrants.

He shouldn't provide them a cost tag. scientific emergencies are exemptions from the regulation. Like even a 10 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous is permitted to tension if there is an emergency. additionally the officer would desire to be in charge if he detained the mummy and she or he had complcations for the time of hard work. If that's the story from the information at present, i'm noticeably beneficial that no value ticket become given.the daddy noted as 911 & defined and then the officer gave them a police escort to the well being middle the place the mummy introduced the infant 6 minutes. later.

Hopefully, give you a ticket for speeding. If the baby was that close to being born the cops could have helped deliver it instead of it happening in the car with no-one to help her. You driving like a mad-man was not doing her a favor. You were endangering her and the baby's life. Along with everyone else on the highway. There are laws for a reason. Wake-up !! Hope the baby was OK. And, Congratulations Daddy !!

You'd get a ticket for speeding & driving recklessly. You could have stopped & asked for a police escort. Even if that baby was showing it's little head, it's no excuse for speeding to the hospital.

1) in the top scenario you state your p gf in LABOR to hospital.

2) in the bottom paragraph you contradict your self and say pg gf

1) if you are speeding and she is in labor(broke water, has dilated to 6 cm then yes we have a problem. officer will know when you look white or pale in face that there is a problem, tell him what's happening and he can escort you behind him with sirens to clear traffic ahead.(yes we do this also use lights for emergency p women.

2) if she is pregnant then there is no emergency.

Why not stop and let the police escort you to the hospital in this case?

It would be much safer, but there is still a stiff price to be paid.

Keep in mind, if you killed someone because of your wreckless driving, you would be held liable.

Yeah, I'd stop and tell the cop to bring her, haha, you could ride in the backseat and just chill.

This happened to my aunt. She was driving from camp to the ER because my cousin fell into a fire. The cop just drove him to the ER and my aunt followed.

/\ /\ /\ lol at the cop being all cool and taking people to jail. XD
