i am 5 ft 8 in tall and 187 punds
i have a treadmill only and thats the only machine i can work with

You should ask your parents to take you a doctor and/or nutritionist. They can teach you how to exercise properly and eat right so you can be healthy. Good for you for wanting to do something for your health! I wish you happiness and success.

Special diets only work until the weight is off and then it comes back unless you continue the diet for life. If you are overeating, you could run the wheels off the treadmill and still not lose the weight. Best way is to find how many calories you are burning daily and don't exceed that with a healthy diet. With that and normal exercise, you can keep in shape. You can do it!

Dont worry too much about your weight you are still very young If you are that worried about it stay away from large amounts of candy and dont drink pop run as much as you want but dont get obsessive that will just stress you out at 13 years old you could also join a team at school soccer or basketball or if you really want to burn swimming i have several friends (male) who lost 18+ pounds in a swim season.. well best of luck and member dont stress about it 2 much

Don't expect overnight miracles. Just remember you need to burn off more calories than you take in (eat). Just watch your diet and exercise and you'll lose weight. Just give it time. You'll be glad you did.

wow you're tall.... better start playing basketball and do some jogging every morning in order to lose some of that weight.....
