never done it.
never witnessed it happening to me.
i want to break up with my first boyfriendddd.
when you're talking to him, should you first say "i want to break up" and then explain your reasons or explain your reaosns and then say "so i want to break up".

i know its a pointless question but i wanna make it as smooth as possible =/

Tell him that you wanna break up first and then give your reason why, then at the end tell him that you hope he understands. One of your reasons can be like you are perusing some one new or just want to be single .

Just let him know that you want some "alone" time to talk to him, and when that time comes, just lay it out for him. It doesn't need to be all dramatic and heart-wrenching. A good tactic is to tell him how you feel, and then tell him that you have been sensing that he feels the same way. That way he can agree and save face.

GoodLuck!

I think your intent will show.
Be gentle as you can be, and if he doesn't "get it" you stop being gentle.
You are both young and dating is a series of experiences.
If this one isn't right for you, then cut that one loose and move on.
The whole idea behind dating is to have fun and get to know people that you might possibly consider spouse material.

Well, the way me ex did it was he was already driving to my house when he callled me. ((it was our 3 month anniversary too!!)) And he told me to not bring anything (i guess the gift i had already bought him) and to just come in the car. And so when he arrived i didnt bring anything, which was the first clue! And he was really quite && he was wearing his shades. When i asked him whats wrong, was it his family? work? He just shook his head no. So then i finally asked "are you breaking up with me?" and he just looked at me & nodded. :( Then he told me he wanted his ex back & i went crazy with tears!! he told me "how can you stop loving someone for 3 years?"......so thats how he did it. :( Believe me, its not gonna be smooth..esp for him! I hope your doing this for the right reason.

Tell him you're tired. you don't want to have a boyfriend now.
cause maybe you're too young.
mostly, first relationships dont last long.
my best friend's first boyfriend lasted around 1 week only!
but my other best friend is still with her first boyfriend for 2 years and a half.
