Boys tell me that I speak like a guy. I wonder if this is why boys don't like me. They tell me i'm pretty, but they don't have crushes. I have a very girly voice, but it's just what I say that sounds like boys. I stopped cussing, but only cuz I really got in trouble at school, but I still say stuff like "nice", and I call everyone a "punk". I play soccer too, and I often scream a lot when we play a gme, so my voice is hoarse half the time. I tried to stop using those words, but they have become part of me, and I can't stop. It's hard!! I was just wondering if how a girl sounds has any importance on whether or not u find her attractive. Can I do anything to sound girlier, that isn't to stop calling people dude, or punk, or saying "nice" and "sweet" and "yo momma", which I say ALOT.

Actually a lot of guys might like that. Guys may have an easier time talking to you, and connect more with you. and its better if you're being yourself than a "girly girl" I don't prefer girly girls at all, if i knew you I'd probably like you.

Your a blurter! Work on not blurting out whats on your mind so fast. So, actually at 14 comes the big lesson of "Attitude ajustment" so get one, please. So, even though you'll ofcourse not do it, but its free and will help you work on your inside is to join a youth group at your church. The kids do projects of volunteering and there is much to be gained for a person your age to experience some life. They have other young people there also and discuss social issues such as you ask about. You will mature if you are willing to expand your world and grow closer to God. PS. They say your like a boy cause your extraverted and brave.

Sound is important, but I know how vocabulary can become a part of who we are and how it defines us. It maybe that these boys are either too shy to go out with you or intimidated. Try making the first move, if that doesn't work, find new boys to be around. You really shouldn't work on changing yourself for them.

Do not change you for getting guys.

What's next? What if you get a boyfriend and he does not like soccer? Gonna quit?

What if you like a food and he does not? Not gonna eat it any more?

Just be yourself. Cus if you want to. If that is you. Then, when you do find a guy, you know he likes YOU, not some made over version of something that looks sort of liek you, but does not act like you.

OMG and you care what they say, eww, its not like they know anything you dint know years ago. Be you, talk you, and enjoy you because you,ll have this company for your lifetime and boys come and go.

Don't use insults and F bombs at school or at home. Its all about being smart about what we do and what it implies not just saying things because it sounds... cool.

If a guy sent that to a girl, then it could make HIM seem creepy. If she texts me asserting that, i could be flattered, no count if or no longer she became into fascinated. It basically feels wonderful if somebody basically thinks approximately you, i assume.

Be yourself and don't worry about how others percieve you. Being gentile wouldn't hurt your image though.
