This is my first time looking around in the "religion" section. It seems to me there are a lot of people who are here to mock Christianity...just curious if there are any Christians in here?

I am a born-again Christian saved by the GRACE of God through his son Jesus Christ!
I currently go to a Baptist church.

woot woot i'm a christian
i have nothing against atheist people but has anyone noticed that more and more teens are turning into atheist? i think it's because of the media, and those stupid little TV shows they're watching. Some of them think that if they choose not to believe in God they'll seem special or "cool.." which is the image most kids wants these days. The things is their parents are Christians (hopefully) and they probably know it's just a stage, they'll grow up and realize how foolish it was trying to be something they weren't. Trust me, I've tried it: Buddhism, Judaism, Muslim, Atheist...and not believing in sumfin was the worst one.
Plus I think Christians are better to date cuz 9/10 they won't really cheat on you or dat other shnitz. I could be wrong here though people geez don't take my opinion as a dominant answer. In the end, people, face it. God's gonna come and do his thing lol

There is always a fair amount of scoffing around here. The anonymity seems to attract the spirit of antichrist. That's why it's important for Christians to keep answering the legitimate questions.

I am a Christian.
I used to attend Catholic churches that brainwashed people into believing that in order to be saved that you have to do their man made rules.
The Bible says the ONLY way to become saved is to believe that Jesus is God in the flesh, who came to be the ultimate sacrifice once and for all for our sins, He took upon all sin and died. Be being this ultimate sacrifice, ALL are saved who accept Jesus as the ONLY Savior. No amount of works, being a good person etc will get you saved. Yes, you should do good works etc after being saved but they are NOT a step to salvation. Salvation is ONLY by the gift of grace, which Jesus provided for all who believe by being the ultimate and last sacrifice. Once you accept Jesus as your Savior and acknowledge who He was, ask for forgiveness of your sins and you are saved!!
Many churches, pastors etc will try to twist and edit the Bible to try to get it to mean what they want. DO NOT believe anyone, instead go right to the Bible and read it yourself!!

I believe I am a christian, I offer my open profile, feel free to read my answers and decide for yourself if I fit your criteria of what a christian should be.
I do not like people who live without boundaries.nor those who claim to be Christians but enjoy watching movies that contain blasphemy against GOD for entertainment. or people that believe something is wrong but surround themselves with it anyway, as if it does not effect them. To me being a christian means making tough choices out of love.

Hey there, Nice to have you here.
It is always open season on Christians here.
You have to be tough.
A weak Christian will get his of her feelings hurt pretty quick.
We let all have their opinions, hey, it is America.
There are legitimate questions here though, and many who sincerly love Jesus. We may not all agree on everything, but we love Jesus just the same.
Debate among believers is healthy, it makes you study, and that is good.

Surprisingly enough for this to be a R&S section there are several atheist on here. I for one am a sinner saved by Jesus and I stumbled upon this hoping to enlighten some and be enlightened myself. Although that doesn't seem to be the intentions of some..
