Like, if I have a ham sandwich, how do I know how many calories are in the bread, a slice of ham and butter?
Is there a website that breaks it all down?

calorie counting can be inaccurate by 300 or 400 calories a day. But it's still the very best way to lose weight and keep it off. There are thousands of websites that break down foods by calorie content...

you can only be accurate with lables from the people who actually made it. Do your best to go by the numbers. Bread and lunch meat is okay...Its the mayo and dressings that are bad for you. Mustard is the best out of all the condiments. Butter is a no no.

I bought a program from calorieking.com that is a nutrition and exercise counter on my computer. I LOVE it and it really helps me keep a fairly accurate count of my daily intake of calories, fat, carbs, protein, and fiber. It has a huge database of foods to help me find the correct counts. It was $45 and well worth it to me. You can get a free 7 day trial to see if you like it from the website.

Go to calorieking.com, click on "software", and click on the Nutrition and Exercise Manager, then you can download the trial to see if you like it.

And if you don't want to spend the money to buy it, just message me! I can find you the calories in foods.

One thing that will help you lose weight: diet pills. I was one of those who did not believe in them until I tried it. And I tried a few. The best product I found on the market is made with pure hoodia and it works great! You can go to
http://www.easy-fit.us and order you free trial, also you only pay $6.95 shipping and handling. Good luck!

Two of my favorite websites are www.sparkpeople.com and www.calorieking.com those two will break things down for you and you can find the amount of calories in an apple vs. a big mac. HTH!

As others have mentioned, http://www.calorieking.com is a pretty good site. I also recommend http://www.nutritiondata.com for looking up the calorie content of various unlabelled foods.
