I have searched a number of stores but cant find anything nice. Can anyone suggest either an online store or physical one where I can find nice decorative mirrors

You can make one out of trim molding and a piece of unfinished mirror. Or you can look for a pretty picture frame, replacing the art inside with mirror.

Otherwise, I would say that this is an area where you can get by on a budget piece...there are plenty of items like this at flea markets, outlet type places like Tuesday Morning, even the discount stores and Big Lots.

Mirrors are everywhere but not all are nice. Most of my mirrors have come from specialty home decor stores. If you want to make an impact you will have to spend a little more. Specialty stores will also have catalogs from companies that supply their mirrors that you can order should you not see the particular size or shape you want in the store. I would hesitate to order a mirror on line as I would want to see and touch the finish from that particular company before I ordered. If you find something on line, have them send a sample of the finish. They will charge a small fee to do that but will wrap it into your order if you decide on it or send the sample back. Also look at Pottery Barn, Ballards, Horchow, Frontgate and Grandinroad. They have on line shopping as well as independent stores in most areas. Bombay usually offers good selections as well.
