It is very normal, but be sure the female is getting her share of food and her brother is not eating his and some of hers too.

Make sure the female gets first shot at the food. The male needs to wait a little while. It's a funny thing, we humans are used to multiple births being conceived at the same time. It's not that way with dogs & cats. Mature eggs are fertilized. Then the next day more eggs mature, and they, too, are fertilized, and so on. You could have kittens in the same litter that are 4-5 days older. When a gestational period is so short, 4 or 5 days can mean a lot in kitty growth.

She may be small all her life, or she may catch up with her brother, who's to say. Just make sure she gets her fair share of the milk.

Kittens from the same litter often have different fathers. So his father was probably a bigger cat than her father. I have 5 week old kittens and none are as big as your male, unless you were including his tail in your wrist-to-elbow measurement.

BAHAHAHAHA! YOU'RE CAT IS A FATTY!

Only kidding. This is normal .The male cat will eat a lot of food as the other one won't. It's just a matter of time to grow. If you're really worried about this, get a doctors opinion. I'm sure it's nothing to bad. You just need to get the girl kitten some more food. :D

This is normal, my sister has a brother/sister pair of cats too. They are 3yrs old now and PJ is twice the size of BooBoo, females are suppose to be small and dainty compared to males - so it must work the same way in the cat world too.

Yep, this is normal.

Male felines tend to be bigger as a general rule than females due to evolutionary predisposition for protection, and appeal to females.

As long as he's not bullying your girl to the point where she stops eating/drinking and/or loosing a drastic amount of weight, it should be fine!

Good luck!

Yes, the males are usually stockier than the females - quite natural. Being a female kitty, however, she will most likely dominate her brother in other ways.
