need to figure what my taxes will be on house i just had it appraised but need to find out what percentage im being taxed for property

You can't just figure it out. An appraisal doesn't necessarily relate to its tax value - the county assessor will set a tax value for your house. If you know that, and the millage rate for your area, you can multiply the two to calculate it. Call your county assessor's office and they can probably tell you what your taxes will be.

Looks like a couple of other posters like me from California where property tax starts at 1% of the sale price. That doesn't apply elsewhere (think "New Jersey").

You should check your current property tax bill and compare your assessed value to the appraisal value. If the appraisal is lower contact your local assessor and request an adjustment.

Lots of misinformation here. You need to contact the county assessor's office to determine taxes.

1 percent of the selling price, that is property taxes.

you can go under your county web site! that should work or check titles it is all public records. google it! you can find out what the previous owner paid for too! also what your neighbors paid for there crib!

should be 1% of your mounthly morgage. if your morgage is 1000.00 amonth then multiply lx1000. will be 10x 12.
