k my ex boyfriend asked me to this football banquet my school is having.. he is winning an award and stuff.. this other guy who is one of his bestfreinds that i really like and he likes me.. im pretty sure he is going to ask me to go.. and my ex said if the guy i like asks me i can go with him (wich is really sweet of him).. what do i do?

your ex already told you you could go with the other guy, no hard fealings, so go with him if he asks... but it gets close (like 3 days) and the other guy has not asked go with your ex and once you commit to going with him dont stand him up EVEN if the other guy asks you, he waited too long. Tell the other guy if he asks after you accepted the exes invite that you would really like to go out with him some other time but that you already agreed to go with your ex. This shows class but still alowes for a date with the other guy.

hey well i always say that your past is your past for a reason and that it is good to move on really all you can do is wait and see if he does ask you out well then go with him this might sound bad but your ex can be you back up
