Now first of all I am not suggesting that atheism makes you kill people, but a recent news story pointed out that the Columbine suspects, the Virginia Tech Suspect, the Paduca Kentuky suspects, and the New Jersy suspect were all atheists.
Isn't it possible that the reason is the total hopelessness preached by the Atheist Religion? If not why is the above the case?
(I'm not attacking, just asking. Please try to remain civil in your responces)

Were they atheists? Where's the news articles?
Edit: Well the guy talking in the segment was a priest, so obviously he's going to play the God card. I don't know why these people did those school shootings. But I think their family life and the fact that these people tend be loners has to play a bigger role. And maybe because they were atheists, they felt persecuted by the mostly Christian demographic of US. Maybe they felt nihlistic because they were atheists, which led them to do all these astrocities.
Should've had a psychologist or a psychiatrist on the show rather than a priest.

Don't confuse correlation with causation.
Why were all of the recent school shooting suspects students?
Now, first of all I am not suggesting that being a student makes you kill people, but a recent news story pointed out that the Columbine suspects, the Virgina Tech Suspect, the Paduca Kentuky suspects, and the New Jersy suspect were all students.
Isn't it possible that the reason is the total hopelessness that goes along with learning stuff? If not, why is the above the case?

Perhaps they were atheists that were being picked on by theists for "being different". Perhaps the school turned a blind eye to the religious bullying that was happening to the atheists, and they reached their breaking point.
Actually, I have no idea if you assertion that these 3 shooters were atheists or not, since you did not offer a shred of evidence, and my answer above is PURE SPECULATION to an unproven, unsubstantiated assertion.
If you can post some solid info into the beliefs (or lack thereof) of these students, I might do some of my own research & attempt to answer your question.
BTW, why do you think Andrea Yates was a Christian ?
Why do you think so many young boys are molested by religious clergy & republicans ?
Updated to add this list of "10 myths about school shootings" I have only seen ONE article that linked shootings to atheism and that was an article claiming that FAUX nex (oops, I mean FOX news) blamed atheism for the shootings.
The article below may give you some insight into school shooting in general, that is if you are really interested in the reasons behind school shootings.
edited to add another link:
This link mentions that the shooter claimed to Worhip Marilyn Manson instead of God. It also list numerous other problems the students has had for years. YUP, if you want to go the simplisitic approach, blame it on atheism. OR, you could look at the whole constellation of this students life, and consider the many, many, factors that contributed to this sad, sad, situation.

most people in northern europe are atheists / agnostics / indifferent and we don't have school shootings. try blaming it on something else, it's a false conclusion. if you wish to maintain that position do not be surprised if someone points out to you that most serial killers are devout and church attending christians and draw a similar misguided conclusion as you.
saw that clip with the lizard priest on, glibly throwing out unfounded aspersions on atheism, so i did a little research. none of them mention atheism, they do mention things like church attendance and suicide messages that say things like , "i'm going to a better place". doesn't sound much like an atheist to me. i know it's on wiki but follow the links out and you will find that fox just created the story from thin air.

"Isn't it possible that the reason is the total hopelessness preached by the Atheist Religion?"
That's just a sad little lie on your part.
Doesn't the fact that you people have to lie so much to defend your beliefs tell you something about the quality of those beliefs? It should.
Think about it, kid. And next time, try to be civil.

Oh WOAH. That is unfairly stereotyping us. Their are millions of other atheists out there, and their not all shooting suspects. I can tell you straight up most of the people who have ever gone on a shooting massacre or done some type of thing like that were probably christian, muslim, or jewish or any other religion. Its not only Atheists. It just happened to be so in those few cases.

Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold, Seung-Hui Cho, and Michael Carneal were ALL raised in Christian homes.
There is no 'Atheist Religion' to be preached. Atheists simply believe in ONE FEWER god than Christians do. It's not a big deal, and it's also NOT hopeless. Atheists don't worship a God who drowned, plagued, and slaughtered millions (more than Hitler), and who repeated COMMANDED his followers to hurt and kill people.

Why are so many convicted criminals in the US Christians? Is it the confused morals of the OT that has led them astray? Coincidence does not prove cause. And atheism is not a religion.

If there is any correlation, it is that Atheists will tend to do things about their lives NOW instead of waiting for some mythological being to do the work for them.

First you have to explain why atheists feel total hopelessness. Most atheists don't feel that way at all and it seems that actually only theists think that.
