Well, it depends. Usually the dewclaws are removed at 3 days of age. The breeder usually has his/her vet do it and it is very simple so doesn't cost very much.

For an older dog, it can also depend. The dewclaw may be very poorly developed and not attached very well. In that case it is a very simple procedure and may cost you about $100 for the sedation, pain meds, bandaging, monitoring, possibly antibiotics and the actual surgery.

Or the dewclaw may be more firmly attached and require a little more work and more pain to remove. In that case it may cost more.

Also, some dogs only have them on the front feet, some have them on all 4 feet and some even have multiple dewclaws on a foot. The number will determine the price as well.

The dewclaws should only be removed as an older dog if they are causing a problem. There is no real reason to remove them if they aren't causing a problem. Some people who have hunting dogs that will frequently be running through heavy brush sometimes opt to have them removed because they are more likely to get caught and torn on branches and stuff, but a regular pet shouldn't have much issue with regular dewclaws.

If you do opt to have them removed, of course depending on the area of country you live in, rural or urban, large or small clinic, etc I'd estimate between $100 to $200.

The best way to find out is to just call around to your local vets and ask for an estimate or quote. They should be more than happy to let you know.

If your dog didn't have their dewclaws removed when they were a few days old, it will probably cost you $50 for each claw with a neuter or spay. If you just have the dewclaws done without any other surgical procedure, it will be higher, maybe $65 for each one because of the anesthetic.

You have to get it done when they are 2-3 days of age.. It's like $15 per puppy for tails and dewclaws.

The truth is it really does depend on where you go.

Does the clinic you'll be using offer just small animal care, or both large and small animal care. A clinic that offers large animal services often has lower prices for small animal care.

What area are you in? Prices depend on local economy too.

Is this a litter of puppies? Or are you looking to have it done to your older pup?

you might get an answer if you were not being so rude in your question.
and...it's horrible to get a cat declawed. just keep them clipped neatly and you won't have to worry about it.
