They say the the universe is so beautifully designed. But when I look at the world around me, it just doesn't seem so. It just looks like a bunch of crap floating around in space to me. When I see animals like the squid and the hippo, I think, who the hell designed that. There really seems to be no order what so ever.

Doesn't look designed?

Please, if you will, delve into the make up of an atom for me. From the basic neutron, electron and proton to the advanced pieces. Now, please tell me, is that random chance?

Also, let's look at the opposite - the universe. There are millions of galaxies floating around in space, billions of stars and possibilities. How can that possibly be random chance?

And just because the order doesn't seem evident to you doesn't mean there is no order; we just aren't aware of it yet, or it's too incomprehensible for our feeble minds.

And that's another thing. That weird thing called thought, and dreams, and emotions....

we are a development-searching for species, and have a tendency to make certain varieties even whilst they do no longer exist. Our universe isn't nicely ordered. Planets are born and die. Stars are born, explode, and die. Black holes suck in each little thing it is purely too close. Galaxies collide. All present day archives point out that the universe will enhance continuously, ending up as a thinning soup of potential and/or debris. because of the fact there will be no substitute, time (that's purely a level of substitute) will effectively supply up. For greater, see the final hyperlink, "Sean Carroll - Cosmology and the Arrow of Time." For insights with regard to the massive Bang and its implications, watch the video on the 1st hyperlink - "A Universe From no longer something" via theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss, study an interview with him (on the 2nd hyperlink), or get his new e book (on the third hyperlink). And, see the 4th hyperlink for "The Universe: massive Bang to Now in 10 uncomplicated Steps." "the entire potential of the universe is strictly 0, because of the fact gravity could have detrimental potential. The detrimental potential of gravity balances out the beneficial potential of count. purely one in each of those universe can start up from no longer something. The rules of physics enable a universe to start from no longer something. you do no longer desire a deity. Quantum fluctuations can produce a universe." - Lawrence Krauss, physicist

Relate the concept of design to irreducible complexity. If ALL the parts are not there, the organ will not work. So it would not have been passed on to its offspring as this would offer no advantage for their survival. All the parts (AND the system that coordinates their activities ) must have come together at the same time.

The universe was intricately designed, however human sin marred its existance. We still see evidence of a marvelous creation but it is marred. We find that animals were created not only perfectly for their enviroment, but also with the ability to adapt to their enviroment.

The important thing is that it's about evidence, not what anyone thinks, feels, or believes.
