what clothes do I wear? I assume dress pants, tie, dress shirt. Ok, what colors? I'm thinking black pants, grey shirt, black tie. Or is this dumb? (I'm low on dress clothes right now)

I'd say you'd be fine to wear a dark suit or dark pants and jacket. Definitely wear dress pants and a jacket if you have one. If not a nice shirt and tie in modest colors will be fine. Even a white shirt with a tie (without a crazy pattern) would be fine.

So sorry for your loss.

Dress pants, dress shirt a tie and a suit jacket or sport jacket. You should wear dark pants and a dark suit or sport jacket - preferably black. For the dress shirt you should wear white or another neutral color. For the tie you should wear a neutral color solid or a neutral color pattern. Your outfit should be clean and neatly pressed.

All you need to do is dress with respect and be subdued. It doesn't necessarily mean you have to look like the undertaker but bright colors are usually not acceptable attire. What you are considering is fine.

Your choices are appropriate for a funeral. If it was a close relative and jacket would be a nice addition.
