Think about it -- Miami is port city that is way closer to a whole bunch of poorer countries where trade of this sort of thing takes place.
BTW - I don't think Interpol is looking for homos since homosexuality is legal

Why would Interpol be looking for homosexuals? Being homosexual is only illegal in Iran (if you believe their BS). Last time I checked, being gay isn't a crime and gays are not being hunted down by Interpol or any other Law Enforcement Agency in Florida, Seattle or anywhere in the States that I am aware of.

There is unequal treatment of the government agencies on this aspect. Miami is known for pedophiles and homes unlike in Seattle.
