I actually went to one over the summer, it was wildly amusing. I was kinda iffy about it in the first place, but by the end of the night, we were having a blast. Usually there's free food, and lots of toys and lingerie to check out. If anything else, you'll get a laugh at some of the ridiculous toys people have invented.
I would probably host one, but not for a couple of years. If you go to one, have fun! if you host one and live in VA, invite me! haha

I hate any kind of merchandise party. It is not a party, it is you feeling guilty and spending money on junk you wouldn't normally buy, just to make the hostess, your friend, happy.
Being obligated to buy a likely overpriced sex toy in front of my friends doesn't sound like a very fun time. I would rather feel obligated to buy a candle or some worthless kitchen junk.

They are supposed to be called "Hen" parties so they don't sound so distasteful. BUT I find nothing wrong with them. It's a healthy and fun thing to do with your friends. I have been to a few. They not only have sex toys but they have things to spice up your love life with your husband or significant other. the last one I went to definitely helped my sex life with my husband. The dice game works wonders.

I had one for my hens party. It was so much fun, everyone got into it (even my grandmother), and everyone bought something. I would definately reccommend one (even more fun with a few drinks lol).

They are fun I have gone and I also hosted one, Lots of girls, lots of drinks and i got lots of fun things for me and mine to try!!! win win situation

i wouldn't host one because i don't know enough people
who would go to one, but i've been to a few and have another
one to go to next month. there's nothing wrong with trying
to add a little spice to your sex life. keeps it interesting.

i love to get my thump on. doesn't need to be at a party, but in my own time i try to keep things as exciting as possilble.
