If you’re dead these is no physical being or presence… How does one throw something which has no mass and therefore no inertia or momentum? Remember f=ma!

Also if one has no physical being than one would also have no nerves or pain receptors. So being thrown (if there was something to throw) into a lake of fire would be no different than being thrown into a Lake of Jell-O brand pudding or 18 year old single malt scotch for that matter.

So…. What is the big deal or are these just more empty threats?

Did you hear about Lazarus and the rich man? Both died and went to hell. This was before the death of Jesus when there still was a hell.

Anyway, there were two sections. Lazarus went to the one with air conditioning. The rich man, who didn't give a hoot about poor old Lazarus when he was alive, ended up on the hot side.

Here's what's interesting – both were dead, at least their physical bodies were dead and yet Lazarus and the rich man could see each other and talk with each other. So they had all their senses even though they were dead. Oh ... one more thing – the rich man could feel the heat. He was in agony.

You may scoff at Christians who you believe lack knowledge or even common sense. But you understand science with only a limited human brain. You do not know the powers of God.

The lake of fire is real, unbelievers will be thrown into it and it ain't gonna be pretty.

Two things:

First, before the final judgment, all the dead are raised again, Rev 20:12-15

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Second, those who are born again (i.e., the have already died a "first death" while they were yet alive, then die their physical death, over these, this second judgment does not apply, because they have either 1) been resurrected when Christ made His second apperance or 2) were changed when the rapture occurred because their lives simply overlapped the time of the end of the age of grace (i.e., the age between Christ's ascension to heaven and His return to gather the faithful to Himself before He pours out His wrath in the Great Tribulation:

Rev 20:5-6 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

Bottom line: we are all eternal beings and we will all be physically resurrected: some unto eternal blissful life in heaven with the Lord, Jesus Christ, and some unto eternal physical torment in the lake of fire at the end of the world.

Before anyone gets thrown into the Lake of Fire they will be given a reserected body. But spirits have spirit bodies, and therefore the angels who are spirits can also throw other spirits, like demons, into the Lake of Fire.

Evidence? Its in scripture, I am not making this up:

Acts 24:15, "there shall certainly be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked"

Michael the angel throws satan the devil:

Rev 12:
7: And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
9: And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

spirits have spirit bodies:

1 Cor 15:
44: ...There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

more on that:

1 Cor 15:
38: But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39: All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40: There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41: There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
44: ...There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
46: Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
48: As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49: And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Revelation 20
1And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

I think the easiest thing I could compare it to would be a dream. Would you want to be dreaming of everything that is just so perfect and awesome that the only thing you could get yourself to do was to drop to your knees and try to close your Jaw that is hanging open in awe of perfection? Or would you rather be terrified in burning darkness forever with no chance of ever leaving? Only thing is it's not a dream! Seems pretty simple to me! GOD BLESS!!

gahaha.
"what's the big deal?"

THERE ISN'T ONE.

when you die, you die. ka-poof. gone.
you rot away and get absorbed into the earth.
you don't get thrown into a lake of fire.
(or go to a magical sunny place in the sky, for that matter.)

Christians are just unfair. They try to make you believe that if you don't subject yourself to their brainwashing, you will burn in hell for all of eternity.

it's a conspiracy!

hey, you might even call Christianity one big CULT!

I understand that you are asking what the soul is and how it can be thrown. I hope whatever answer you get also answers "which part of the soul is flammable?"
